*TRIGGER WARNING*
(Guns/Violence/Homophobia)

~TJ's POV~

Cyrus was starting to get better each and every day. I was often over his house doing anything and everything I could to make his life easier. His mom was always appreciative of it, and her smile warmed my heart. She always offered me food as payment, but I'd often refuse. Her smile was enough payment for me. If she was happy, Cyrus would be too.

"Teej, where's Reed?" Cyrus asked, breaking me from my thoughts.

"Now that you mention it, I honestly don't have a clue. He said he'd be over in a few minutes" A puzzled look came across my face as I took at my phone. As if on cue, I got a text from Reed.

Reed: Need to finish inventory and lock up quick before I come over. Tell Cyrus hi and I hope he's feeling well.

Me: Aight, don't be too long!

I showed Cyrus the messages and he nodded.

"That's fine. We'll just wait to start the movie until he gets here" Cyrus stated.

Cyrus wanted to have a bit of a movie night, so the whole gang was over except for Jonah and Walker. I'm pretty sure those two are a thing, but what do I know?

"How's everything at home?" I asked Amber who shrugged.

"Not the same since you left. Mom is a wreck. Dad is just angry all the time. He doesn't take it out on mom or I though. So at least we have that" She sighed and and held my hand.

"I miss you and Mom." I said quietly as she squeezed my hand.

"We miss you too. It sucks, but fuck dad" She smiled and I nodded to her statement. I can't ever see good in a homophobe. Especially one that would kick out his own son.

"Well while we wait for Reed to get here, anyone care to tell me what movie we watching again?" Marty inquired as I saw Cyrus perk up.

"We are watching the HIT CLASSIC, Jurassic Park." Cyrus smiled. Though he's almost an adult, he still loves dinosaurs. It's kinda cute.

~Reed's POV~

My dad had left the store early and asked me to close up, as per usual on a Saturday. I finished going through the checklist and placed the clipboard inside of the back office.

I went to the front desk and went to put the extra numerical lock on the register, but I heard the bell on the door go off which made me immediately look up.

Lester

"Get out." I put briefly, "Or I'll kick you out."

He smirked. It's like he was a villain. Comical even, if you weren't face to face with him.

Slowly, he drew a firearm from his jacket and pointed it up toward me. I quickly shot my hands upward, pleading my innocence.

"No one is kicking anyone out, Reed" He said in such a calm manner. He's literally psycho.

"Lester, whatever you think you're about to do, it's not worth it." I pleaded. He stepped closer to the counter and smirked.

"You fags ruined my life. Your disease took away my friends. Now, I'll take away your lives. One at a time." He chuckled to himself. Chuckled. He had a gun on me and he was laughing.

"Lester. You turned on me. When I tried to get better, you called me a pussy! You thought I was a sellout! I didn't want to be a dunce who just rode his dirt bike and his only personality trait as being a dumbass!" I made an attempt to remove the hate from name that he so deeply imbedded.
