Y/N's POV
Qrow: The City of Mistral...
Nora: Ugh! It's about time!
We were in a tunnel made of stone brick illuminated by translucent lanterns. I had my disguise on.
Nora: Whose idea was it to walk again?
Y/N: You all got stronger didn't you?
Ren: Well, we did face many obstacles. Broken airships, destroyed settlements.
Jaune: Oh, and, you know, all those people and monsters that tried to murder us.
Ruby: Pfft, we were fine. *looks to Qrow with a smile* At least only one of us almost died.
Qrow/Y/N: Hey
You both said this while smiling and looking back at Ruby.
Nora looked at Ren with her hands on her hips.
Ren: *looking at Nora* Hey.
Nora giggles in response.
Jaune: So, how much farther to Haven Academy?
Pyrrha: It's a little ways away, Qrow may I ask why you took the scenic route.
Qrow: Well, to someone like you, who's been here before, this might not be as cool. But to the others, it's quite a sight.
We approached a pair of large, wooden double doors, Qrow and I opened them, flooding the tunnel with sunlight. Ruby ran out to find a massive platform that doubled as an elevator, she stopped at the railing to gaze out over the city in wide-eyed awe.
Ruby: Wow!
Everyone but Pyrrha and Qrow joined her. I stood by her side.
Ruby: This... is... awesome!
You place a hand on her head and ruffle her hair.
Y/N: That was my reaction.
Qrow: It's certainly something.
Ruby noticed a booth selling weapons.
Ruby: Oh my gosh, look at all the weapons!
Qrow: Vendors here'll sell you just about anything... whether they should or not.
Jaune: They really made the most out of these mountains.
Qrow: Every inch. Stay away from the lower levels. The higher up you go, the nicer it gets.
Nora: And we are going up!
She pointed to the sky.
(Scene break)
We reached Haven Academy and found it empty, devoid of any other people. We stop in a courtyard. Ruby smiles and wipes a tear from her eye. Jaune places a hand on her shoulder and she sighs.
Ruby: We made it.
Qrow and I looked at each other with concern, the rest continued on, we take a look around and then follow them.
