Ruby and I went out to the dance floor and I signalled the DJ to start.
A/N: Don't judge this was all I could come up with, in a short time from my playlist that I listen to while writing.
Y/N: Come on let's dance it'll be fun!
I started dancing in some pretty stupid ways and Ruby slowly joined in. We both started laughing and having a good time and some other people even joined in.
Y/N: See I told you it would be fun!
Ruby: Yeah! This is fun!
The DJ then changed it to a Waltz and Ruby froze up a bit as couples started to slow dance and she was whisked away by another guy as a redhead took me to dance. The dance kept on going and eventually, the partners swapped enough to get Ruby back to me.
Y/N: May I have this dance madame?
Ruby: *giggles* Why of course my good sir.
The music changed again into a slow dance and I pulled Ruby close to me and we started slow dancing.
Ruby's POV
Y/N: Ruby.
Ruby: Hmm?
Y/N: I love you and never want to be apart from you so...
We broke apart Y/N disappeared as the whole dance floor emptied and he stood right in the middle. He got down on one knee and pulled out a small velvet box

In the box, there was a ring made of a pure silvery metal, it was shaped to have several roses in it and right at the centre of all of it... A ruby, inside almost a pedestal. The ruby looked as if it were a rose itself.
I began crying right then and there.
Ruby: Y-Yes! Yes, I will marry you!
Y/N slipped the ring on my finger and the whole room cheered.
Jaune and Ren: GO Y/N WOO HOO!
Nora: YOU DID IT!
Yang, Blake, Weiss, and Pyrrha: CONGRATS!
Y/N: HELL YEAH!
I giggled and looked him in the eyes. His brown reflecting my silver. I stretched up and Y/N took my chin in his hand as we locked in a passionate kiss...

We had to break it for air and I panted as Y/N looked at me lovingly
Y/N: Wanna go outside?
Ruby: S-sure.
Y/N's POV
The plan worked and Ruby accepted my proposal nothing could ruin this for me. We had gone outside and as if the universe itself wanted to try to prove me wrong, I saw a shadowy figure running on the rooftops.
Y/N: Rubes, you see that?
Ruby: Yeah... where are they going?
Y/N: No idea but we should follow them.
Ruby and I ran over to the CCTS tower and found two unconscious guards.
Y/N: That's not good...
Ruby: Let's go!
In the elevator, Ruby pulled out Cresent Rose and I drew my Katana. The elevator arrived and we were greeted with an eerie silence.
Ruby: Hello?
She nearly tripped on her high-heeled shoes but I caught her.
Ruby: Thanks. Is anyone there? Hello?
A mysterious figure rose from behind a table and stepped towards us. I felt the same strange power radiating off her as the dog Faunus that was there when Ruby ran into Emerald.
Ruby: Excuse me? You know, it's not a masquerade party, so why don't you take off that-!
I jumped and took Ruby down to the floor as the woman throws a container of ice Dust and throws it at us causing it to send shards of Ice flying at us but I shielded her. When we looked up she was escaping and Ironwood came through the elevator door just catching a glimpse of her.
Ironwood: Who the- You two what happened?
Y/N: No idea but she did something to the computers.
Ironwood: Alright well you're free to go for now but tomorrow you must come to Ozpin's office, understood?
Ruby: Yes.
Ruby and I left the tower however we did not go back to our dorms that night...
