days passed and everything was dull without millie. finn and sadie haven't hung out as much due to the fact that she's been avoiding him because of what she accidentally heard him say.

she didn't want things to be awkward between them.

the feeling of catching feelings for someone can be irritating, confusing, and frustrating.
it can start with a simple smile; they make you happy in ways you didn't even think you could be happy. and sometimes you don't even notice it at first. you don't ask for the butterflies in your stomach yet they're there. and as annoying as it is; they don't go away.

imagine someone laying in their bed staring at the ceiling thinking about you. only you.

the little, simple things about a specific person. maybe it's their eyes, the way they speak, the way they make you laugh. maybe it's the way they show their feelings, or love for people around them. it can honestly make you fall in love with them in the time span of a month.

but the hardest part about catching feelings is the fact that sometimes the people that we love don't share the same feelings towards us. it's not your fault, nor theirs.

reality was hitting finn in the face; she didn't even want to be his friend; why would she like him.

he doesn't want to ruin their friendship whatsoever. so of course; he hides his feelings.

when he's sober at least.

licking the cherry flavored vodka off his own lips, and placing the bottle down on the bathroom floor; he sighed as the glass made a small noise when it was dropped softly on the floor beside him.

he stumbled, trying to stand up. he felt light, like he was walking on air; yet he felt like the heaviest thing in the world, with gravity pulling him to the floor.

he entered sadie's room, which was mostly empty due to the fact that she doesn't have a roommate. she sat on her bed, antsy.

"finn? what's wrong?" she said, standing up to only help the poor intoxicated boy sit down.

"i don't- i don't want to be here a-anymore, saids. therapy isn't working, thi- this place is making me depressed and it always has. it's making my anxiety w-worse." he slurred. sadie could smell the alcohol in his breath. "will you escape with me?" he says; probably the most clear thing he spoke through all of that.

she looked down at him with sympathetic eyes. how could she say no? he was borderline crying.

"finn, you're drunk." she stated.

"please, sadie." she begs, he's full on crying now.

"hey, hey. can we talk about this after you take a nap? you're not thinking clearly." she tried her hardest to clam him down. he sat on her bed, with his legs hanging off the side; same as sadie. "you should sober up."

"no i don't, i'm f-fine." he protested. "please, sadie. please h-help me out of her-here. i want, i want to live a normal l-life."

"finn, either of us have anywhere to go."

"we'll figure it out, please, please just say yes."

where would they go? they can't stay in town because they'd get sent right back here. they'd have to go on the run, leave hawkins. but how? there's no way. but she needed him to get some sleep and she knows he won't until she agrees.

"yes." she paused, "i'll escape with you." she said softly. he smiled, definitely calming down a lot more.

he stared at her face, damn. if he could find the words to describe how breathtaking he thinks she is. she's perfect. from her messy ginger colored hair, to her ocean blue eyes. her freckles, also.

his eyes were soft looking at her. a pretty brown; but they were perfect to sadie. she didn't say anything. they stared in silence.

"i.. can i kiss you?"

finn spoke up.

sadie was shocked at his words, she didn't say anything. she didn't know what to say. she continued looking at him, and she slightly nodded carefully.

finn brings his hand to her cheek to pull her closer, as he slowly leaned in. he placed his lips softly, yet firmly on hers.

sadie's face turned a deep shade of red, as the kiss only lasted about 10 seconds, and they pulled away.

10 seconds.

that's all it was.

yet sadie was absolutely gushing over it in her mind. she was freaking out; she kinda wanted to kiss him again but that would be wrong; since he's drunk and probably won't even remember kissing her anyways.

she scooted back on her bed, so her back was against the wall, and finn moved up to place his head on her lap. his legs still hung off the bed due to the fact he was so tall.

he fell asleep soon enough. sadie softly, and lightly touched his hair. she kind of couldn't help herself. she wanted to touch it ever since she got here.

and given that fact finn was sleeping on her lap it gave her a chance to think about things. the things she heard him say. does he actually like her? does he actually want to be with her? does she want to be with him?

does she like him?

looking down at the sleeping boy; does she really want to run away with him?

it would be simple; they could escape through the rooftop; they could climb down the fire escape. but how would they get away from the hospital? they'd have to plan everything out. call an outside friend. sadie doesn't have anyone else but her parents on her call list so she wouldn't be able to.

finn on the other hand; his every close friend has a car, and is on his call list.

so therefore that could work out. but still? they'd have to figure out where they're going. where would they stay? they definitely need to get out of town.

hopefully all theses questions would be answered soon.
