sadie gasped, sitting up in a panic from a dream. finn was still awake watching cartoons with sadie shot up from her sleep, borderline crying.
"come here." finn whispered, he didn't know what was wrong or what kind of nightmare she had, and he didn't ask.
she moved herself over and rapped her arms around her torso burying her head into his chest. he snaked his arms around her and held her. his chin rested on the top of her hair.
"you're okay." he cooled. he played his hand on her chin, tilting it up just a bit, to look at her eyes. her blue, ocean colored eyes. "i like you. you know that?" he smiled at the small girl.
butterflies possessed her body, making her cheeks turn a red color.
"I like you too, finn." she smiled.
her nightmare consisted of demonic things. blood and gore has always scared her. she can't really even sit down and watch a horror movie with out going into shock and experiencing paranoia for weeks on end. he calmed her from the fears of those types of things.
he rubbed her back with his hand. she relaxed her muscles, knowing they both should probably get some rest.
but instead, she pulled herself off his chest. only to place a hand on his cheek.
she stared into his eyes for what felt like 20 minutes, before leaning in. placing a passionate kiss on his chapped lips.
finn was slightly taken back by her actions; maybe at the fact that they've never kissed when they were both sober. or maybe it was because he just wasn't prepared.
but regardless, he closed his eyes. placing his hands on her face while he deepens the kiss. flipping them, so she laid on her back.
he held himself up over her, supporting himself with his left hand.
the kiss quickly escalated into more of a make out session then a kiss. their lips fought for dominance until sadie finally let finn take over.
they continued for minutes, until they both pulled away, out of breath. finn flopped back on top his side of the queen sized bed before breathing heavily.
sadie stayed in the same place, but she was breathing heavily trying to catch her breath as well.
"we should both probably get some rest." she pointed out, before turning over on her side away from him. finn agreeing turned to her, taking an arm and pulling her torso against him. her clothed back touched his bare chest. he took in her scent, cherries.
sadie took in his body heat. she relished his presence and adored his affection.
she left like she could be vulnerable with finn. he was the only person who has ever made her feel that way. the only person who has ever cared for her in that way.
and she loved it.
eventually both their minds traveled off into a peace, in which they both fell into a peaceful sleep.
finn, falling asleep first this time; sadie could almost feel when he relaxed his muscles, falling asleep while holding her.
morning came before they knew it. the sunlight shined through the while blinds and the light colored curtains.
sadie stretched out her body before sitting up. finn's arm fell from her body as she tried to get up without making a sound. though, she failed. finn's eyes fluttered open to the girl just about to climb out of bed.
"i'm sorry to wake you." she leaned towards him, pushing his messy hair out of his tired eyes.
"it's alright." he said sweetly before sitting up.
sadie climbed out of bed opening her backpack to pop her pills in her mouth; swallowing with out water. she took finn's pills and handed them to him before he went into the bathroom to do his business.
caleb had left them both two tooth brushes on the counter in the bathroom. sadie eventually joined finn at the sink to scrub her teeth with toothpaste.
sharing a bathroom and a room with finn wasn't bad at all. caleb had a huge house.
sadie put her hand under the running sink water, just to flick the water at her boyfriend. he quickly retaliated by splashing the sink water at her, causing her to run out of the bathroom to try to get away from him, laughing the whole time.
she ran back into their room, finn chased after her. he grabbed her waist and in his arms she squirmed, laughing at him. he dug his fingers into her sides and his pressure points to torture her and her ticklish body; her legs pretty much went numb trying to escape his grasp.
he was laughing just as hard as her. until she got out of his arms, and grabbed the pillow off the top of the bed and hit him directly in the face and ran out of their bedroom into the kitchen.
though the laughing stopped when she bumped into a stranger.
her hair was straight and short, it sat on her shoulders. blonde. she was pretty. really pretty. and her blue eyes matched sadie's.
"who are you?" the taller, i may add, girl looked down at sadie.
"oh um, i'm sadie and-" she was cut off by finn stumbling into the room, just to rest by her side.
"hi, i'm finn." the tall boy introduced himself. he was always so sweet.
"i'm grace, caleb's girlfriend." she smiled, not actually knowing that they both come from a mental hospital. caleb had mentioned to her that he had some friends staying in the guest room. but of course he never told her about how sadie and him used to date.
"it's nice to meet you." finn said shaking her hand politely. sadie stood there awkwardly.
"you two can help yourself to anything you'd like in the kitchen. i'll be in my room if you need anything." the blonde left the two alone once more. sadie looked up at finn and broke out laughing.
