once sadie made it back to noah and millie; she found out they have 'group' today.

i supposed to be some sort of therapy. where everyone sit in a circle and share their thoughts, feelings, concerns, stories. pretty much anything; really. they go to group once a week, every wednesday.

millie being the bubbly girl she is; she walked in between noah and sadie, holding on to both their hands. after they all have lunch together, they entered the yellow room, yes yellow. not white this time.

chairs were seated all around the room, and almost everyone was seated.

once millie and noah sat down in their chairs sadie sat next to millie, of course. but on her left a familiar blonde girl sat with one leg over the other. she looked annoyed; maybe it was the fact that she didn't want to be here. or maybe it was because sadie had sat next to her. the world may never know.

sadie sat uncomfortably waiting to start.

a tall man entered the room with a clip board in hand, sadie didn't recognize him. yet, the rest of them did.

"joe! you're back from vacation!" someone's voice said from across the room. he seemed every liked by the patients in the room. sadie took note of that.

"yes, i am back. i hope you guys didn't miss me too much! who filled in for me while i was gone?" he asked the group.

the boy sadie recognized from last night spoke up, "charlie; though he isn't at fun and i'm pretty sure he doesn't know what he's talking about half the time." jack said. a lot of them laughed and agreed. sadie barely knew what was going on.

"ah, makes sense. okay anyways," he said sitting down comfortably in his chair. "who wants to share first today?" he looked around he room with a smile.

"i will." she small voice said, she said across from sadie and millie. an other redhead; though her hair was much shorter than sadie's. and she was very skinny.

"alright; sophia." joe smiled and crossed his leg over the others.

"hi, my name is sophia, if you didn't already know." she started, awkwardly. "i was diagnosed with anorexia two years ago, and i was admitted last year by my parents."

"is that why i've never seen you in the cafeteria?" lilia spoke up from the corner.

sophia turned her body to face the girl.

"yes; actually. they bring food to my room from a professional chef. so, last year, i used to trade the food i was given for other things around here." she explained.

"just after we noticed you weren't getting better, we switched your schedule around." joe said. sophia boded with a small smile on her face.

"i'll go next." the blonde girl beside sadie says. "my name is iris, i have a cyclothymic; which means my mood changes very dramatically." she went on; chewing on gum at the same time. "but the real reason i'm here is because my sister has schizophrenia; and my parents didn't want to send her here alone. i would be find if they just put me on the correct meds but," she paused looking over at lilia who wasn't even paying attention.

"i guess it doesn't matter."

after a few others shared, group was finally over.

curfew tonight was was at 6, instead of 9 tonight because there was a thunderstorm hiding the area and a lot of patients don't do well with storms.

after dinner, sadie and millie raced each other down the halls into their room. they've only known each other for about 24 hours and they already considered each other their best friend.

given the choices around here it looks like they're each other's new best friends.

they girls sat on both millie's bed,

"so; you and noah?" sadie laughed with her brunette best friend.

"what! no! he reminds me of a brother." she laughed. "you have your eye on anyone?" she purposely winked, jokingly to get a rise out her of friend.

"i've been here for one night!" she laughed, shaking her head.

"what about finn? you seemed interested in him today; chasing him down the hallway?"

"i don't even know him! for all i know; he could be crazy." sadie said while pushing her hair out of her face.

"we're all crazy saids! that's why we're here!" millie joked grabbing onto the girl's hand. "you should shoot your shot."

"to get rejected? no thanks. also; i think that iris girl has some sort of wolfy claim on him already. and she already doesn't seem to like me very much." sadie said.

"oh please! iris shares her saliva with decent looking boy here. you should talk to him."

"maybe tomorrow." she says looking away from her friend.

"no! you should tonight! we could sneak out and go to finn's room. plus; his roommate is kinda cute." she laughed.

"are you sure? we're probably going to get in trouble. and there's a storm tonight, everyone is," she raised her hands into the air to use finger quotes; "on edge."

"ah, so what? everyone sneaks out anyways. the guards are too stupid." she stood up, grabbing sadie's hand tighter to pull her to her feet. "we should go now; before they start checking rooms."

"okay! fine. let's go now incase the boys kick us out and we have to come back."

as the girls sneak through the halls, with a occasional laugh here and there at the fact that they cannot take anything seriously for the life of them, they eventually reached finn and jack's room.

millie stood in front of sadie as the stepped into the room quietly. jack sat on his bed; and finn was no where to be seen.

"what are you two doing here?" he stood up from his bed to face the two.

"we thought you might want company; because of the storm." millie said, sadie just following her lead.

just then, finn entered the room and looked at the three; confused.

"we can go back to our room if you'd like. we're just bored." millie added.

finn smiled, nicely and sat down on his bed.

"you guys can stay; i don't care." finn said motioning for them to come sit down. they did; sadie stayed quiet due to the fact she's awkward around people. a loud crush of thunder hit above them and sadie jumped in freight. finn placed his hand on the girl's hand to calm her. "it's just a storm." he smiled at the smaller girl.

hours passed and the girls ended up going back to their rooms because they were both very tired.

only, this time they didn't use their separate beds. the girls both fell asleep in sadie's bed; which was farther away from their window; which was bared up.

they surprisingly slept peacefully through the storm; a lot of he other patients can't say the same.
