the radio blasted music from the left side of the room. sadie was, of course in her socks sliding around on the wood floor but only this time finn joined her.

"i have loved you since we were eighteen, long before we both thought the same thing." they sang with each other. their voices not matching the tone of the song or harmonizing what-so-ever but they didn't even care.

"to be loved and to be in love."

they danced like nobody was watching; because no one was. it was just them. how it's supposed to be.

"all i can do is say that these arms were made for holding you. i wanna love like you made me feel when we were eighteen!" sadie continuously smiled; she had been a huge one direction fan as a child. finn couldn't exactly say the same, but of course he knew the song.

who doesn't?

he spun the girl around in exemplary circles, her ginger hair flying through the air along with his curls. 

they haven't left the house much and haven't done really anything the past couple of days but they were content.

nick sent finn a card with emergency money on it. just in case they needed it for something; but finn knew they're were most likely going to spend it on food.

the song ended and sadie switched off the radio and flopped onto the neatly made bed that was placed in the middle of the room.
the living room and bedroom was in the same room, and then the kitchen and bathroom was attacked off of it.

they catch themselves dancing together a lot; and not only to just one direction. a lot of 80s music, only because they both enjoyed it a lot.

"can we do something today?" sadie said, getting comfortable in their bed.

they already considered themselves each other's significant other's. even though is wasn't said; they both kind of understood they were each other's.

"like what?" the boy asked, siting down on the side of the bed, close to her.

"anything! but first.." she said boldly; since she's gotten quite comfortable around him at this point. she moved forward to connect their lips. finn, of course smiled into it and kissed her back.

only for it to be cut short by the house phone ringing.

sadie jumped in fright at the interruption, only to realize it was only the ringing phone.

finn pulled himself away from the ginger to answer the phone.

"hello?" he said, answering it.

"finn! is sadie with you?" a voice from the other line asked; a british voice.

"millie?!" finn said in shock. sadie jumped up out of bed and grabbed the phone out of finn's hands to put to her ear.

"mills??"

"sadie! how are you?" the girl was happy to hear her voice.

"oh my god, great! i miss you so much!" sadie was smiling. finn stared at her and just admired her appearance. she was so beautiful to him. her eyes lite up at the british girl's voice.

"i miss you too, when can i see you?"

"now? are you free today?" the ginger was exploding with exhilaration.

"of course! i was actually planning on going to the pool today, i can come get you and maybe finn and we can go together??" the girl on the other line matched sadie's eagerness.

"yes! i'll make finn go get ready. and i'll send you the address."

"okay! be ready by 2:00!"

and with that, the phone was hung up, and the ginger was racing to the bathroom were she had to get ready.

"we're going swimming, millie's coming to get us!" sadie shouted from the closed bathroom door.

finn laughed, "alright!"

2:00 came quicker than expected, millie had showed up at the apartment, carrying a bag. but sadie didn't even see it because once she opened the door she practically jumped onto millie. her arms snakes around the slightly taller girls neck as she stood on her tippy-toes to hold the girl in an embrace. finn smiled at the two.

it actually kind of made him miss jack a little.

"okay so i brought this for you." millie said pulling out a brand new swim suit in sadie's size. it was a pastel yellow color, it would look very pretty on her.

finn took a mental note that she'd also look very attractive in the two piece bathing suit. but he immediately shook that thought out of his head.

millie's matched of course, only hers was in red. she wore it under her normal clothes.

sadie went to go do the same.

finn placed his hand on the middle of sadie's back as they walked down the hallway, leaving in millie car.

the car ride wasn't long.

before they knew it they were sitting in the edge of the pool with their feet dipped into the water. finn decided to go get some snacks from the vending machine. he tried to keep himself distracted, mainly because his girlfriend was basically half naked next to him all the time. but an other reason was he wanted to give the girls time alone.

"soooo, you are finn are like together now?" the brunette said to her best friend.

"well, yeah. he's a good boyfriend." she could feel her face turning a bit red.

"that's cute, i didn't know he was the commitment type, yknow?" she laughed but sadie's face fell in concern.

"what do you mean by that?" sadie asked, innocently.

"well, i don't know. he's never had a girlfriend that i've known of. but he's always kind of been around with girls? like iris." she used the blonde as an example. sadie began to rethink the first argument they had. he never loved or liked iris, right? but of course that shouldn't matter because they're together now.

sadie began to feel slightly envious of the rude blonde she once met. she didn't want to think about it, so she changed the conversation.

finn soon came back with m&m's and other snacks.

"you're really an other species, wolfhard." millie commented while he was munching on m&m's. the pool was empty that day, it was just them there.

"does your species like m&m's?" he asked the brunette. she only held out her hand for him to poor a few in. she ate them one by one, ignoring him for the rest of the day.
