my ex best friend and i ^^ (she moved 23 hours away; 13 whole states away. memories between maddie and sadie are mostly real!)
it's officially been 6 months since sadie and finn escaped.
sadie's eyes open, only to face her best friend, her boyfriend, probably the love of her life, and her person. they both lay nude under the covers. finn, still peacefully sleeping, causing sadie to smile. she doesn't remember falling asleep she was so tired. her body was still tired when she forced herself to sit up, causing the blankets to uncover the girls naked body. she placed her feet onto the ground, approaching the closet, slipping on an a t-shirt, and her underwear. not bothering to get dressed for the day. she'd do that later.
finn woke up to the smell of pancakes, which he smiled at before he even opened his eyes. but when he did open his eyes, his vision was full of his girlfriend, not cooking exactly, because can she cook? no, you're funny. but, she was heating up pre-made pancakes in the microwave, which smelled amazing. he sat up, just for her to throw herself back onto the bed.
"get up! i need to wash the sheets!!" she said in a playful tone, finn only chuckled at the girl. he raised his hands in surrender, grabbing his clothes, which were scattered around the room. then started to slipped them on, before taking the pancakes out of the microwave. he sat at the counter, about to eat his food. while sadie stripped the covers, sheets and pillow cases off the bed. "you know what i was thinking about?"
"what?" finn replied, he only had his gray joggers over his boxers, leaving him shirtless. his girlfriend laid across the naked bed and looked over at finn.
"when i was little, my parents used to take me to their beach house. it was more like a cabin near a lake really, but." she paused, smiling at the memory. "i used to bring my friend maddie with me sometimes and we'd have camp fires by the lake and catch fireflies in the dark." finn got up to sit down next to her, leaving his pancakes behind. "we were probably only like 12, but, i have so many memories of her," the redhead giggled a bit when an other one popped up in her head. "once, while i was staying over her house, maddie and i caught maddie's older sister's girlfriend and her kissing in her room. we were so mortified!" she laughed, finn smiled at her laugh. "we ended up bursting into her room yelling "put your hands where i can see them!!" and we sprayed them with silly string." finn laughed at the story.
"i never had friend's when i was little but nick and i were always close. he was diffenally my childhood best friend." finn added.
"i miss maddie, sometimes. but i just don't trust her anymore. have you ever fought with nick?" she sat up, pushing her hair behind her ear.
"oh, yeah. well of course, that's that siblings do."
"did he fuck your boyfriend and tell the whole school i was a whore?" she joked, but finn's eyes softened. he knows she's been through so much.
"you're not a whore, sadie sink." he placed his hand on hers. "sadie wolfhard," he corrected himself. it was kind of their little inside joke now. "you're pure, sweet.. kind. you have a breathtaking personality."
"i would't describe myself as pure, only because of last night but, go on." she gave a cocky smile at her own joke, finn smiled. he loved this girl, he really did. "anyways, i'm going to have millie over today. meaning you'll have to find something to do because we need girl time." finn shook his head.
"oh what ever will i do without you for an hour?" she threw her head back and snorted at his reply.
eventually finn is forced out his own home (which isn't even really his) just so the girls can be alone.
"so how are you and finn?" the girl asked, sipping her coffee while sitting at the counter.
"well, actually i want to talk to you about something." she said, sitting next to her.
"what's up?"
"i think i'm pregnant" sadie spit out, not even directly looking at her best friend. millie almost spit out her coffee.
"oh my god sades!! does finn know? when was the last time, you- you know-" her best friend grabbed her hand in excitement.
"well, last night but that's not the first time. i've been throwing up in the morning and everything. but i kind of bought a test, and i was too scared to take it with out telling you first." sadie grabbed the box from the shelf.
"oh. my. god. i'm gonna be a auntie!" millie said, forgetting about her coffee and jumping up and down. "go take the test!! now, now, now!" she said shoving her best friend, and the box of pregnancy test into the bathroom.
about ten minutes later sadie opens the door, tears rolling down her face, making millie drop her excitement. "whats wrong?"
sadie smiled through her tears,
"millie i'm gonna have a baby."
with that sentence millie's excitement jumps back into her body and she pulls sadie into the biggest hug. millie already plans to be that one friend to spoil the child, teach him or her to swear, and give them 5$ every time they say one. sadie on the other hand is mentally freaking out, knowing she's going to have to find out a way to tell finn. what if he doesn't want one this early? they haven't even been together for an entire year.
but i guess that didn't matter because she knows finn loves her, and would walk to the end of the earth for her.
she decided she was going to tell finn that night, but until then she was going to spend time with her best friend. she placed the pregnancy test in a plastic bag and put it into a shoe box, only to side it under the bed so she could give it to finn later.
she felt like she was going to throw up, but she wasn't sure if it was from excitement or nervousness.
