Over the past few months, nothing really has happened. We all miss our friends from the North Pole very much. But like Mr Ginger said, we'll see them again. Anyway, we haven't had a real adventure in a while. It's just been kind of... boring. At least there's something exciting soon. It's Petra's birthday! Petra called earlier and told us all to meet at her house. It was actually an unusual call. This is what happened...
Jesse: "Hello?"
Petra: "Hey Jesse. It's Petra."
Jesse: "Hey Petra, what's up?"
Petra: "Do you think you and Reuben could come over later? I got something I wanna talk to you all about."
Jesse: "Sure. We'll be there."
I heard her whisper to herself.
Petra: "Yes."
Jesse: "Petra, what are you plotting?"
Petra: "Nothing. Nothing... uhhh... You'll see. Oh! Also, bring your Breather Bubbles."
Jesse: "the Breather Bubbles? Why?"
Petra: "Bye, Jesse! See you later!"
And she hung up.
Jesse: "...?"
I know right. That was super strange. She is obviously planning something. I heard the excitement in her voice. Sometime later, it was time to go to Petra's house and see what she has been plotting.
Jesse: "Reuben! Time to go!"
He came running around the corner with two Breather Bubbles in his mouth. I smiled and took them. My smile slowly faded. Reuben whimpered.
Jesse: "I know, buddy. I miss our North Pole friends too. But you know what, I bet Mr Ginger let us keep these for a special reason. And whatever Petra has in mind, I bet this is the reason."
Reuben smiled as I tickled his chin.
Jesse: "Come on, let's go. I'm very curious now."
