JESSE'S POV
Jesse: "Please be alright, Petra."
We swam as fast as we could to the palace. Soon we saw a figure swimming towards us, fast.
Olivia: "Jesse! Look out!"
Reuben squealed. We all came to a halt, even the mysterious figure. Then we saw who it was.
Jesse, Olivia, Axel & Lukas: "You?!"
Pearl: "Oh, thank goodness I found you!"
Lukas: "What do you want?!"
Axel: "Where's Petra?!"
Jesse: "Don't you dare do anything to her!"
Pearl: "Please! Let me explain!"
Olivia: "Start talking, Princess!"
Pearl: "First I must ask you what you all know."
Jesse: "We know Petra is apart of some kind of prophecy."
Axel: "We know Petra has a twin brother from another mother."
Olivia: "We know what Saturn wants to do with her."
Lukas: "And we know that the mythical beast, the kraken, is real!"
Pearl: "Yes. You are all correct. Wait, you don't know about my father's trident?"
We shook our heads.
Pearl: "Good. I didn't really want you to hear it from anyone else."
Axel: "Hear what? What about the trident?"
She paused.
Pearl: "My father has a trident with a power that he has used on Petra."
Jesse, Olivia, Axel & Lukas: "What?!"
Reuben whimpered, concerningly.
Pearl: "Don't worry too much. She's not hurt. She just looks a little different."
Jesse: "What do you mean?"
Pearl: "You need to see for yourself."
Lukas: "How can we trust you?"
Pearl: "Petra sent me. She told me to come and get you to take you to the palace safely. If my father sees you... it won't end well for any of you. Trust me, don't trust me, it doesn't matter. But Petra is really worried about you all. Please, let me help you. I'm also doing this for my people. My father never deserved to be king. Once I am queen, I can make Subtropolis the way it was always meant to be. Help me to help you to help everyone, I guess. You wont be able to sneak into the palace without my help."
Jesse: "Ok."
Pearl: "Really?"
Jesse: "We knew Saturn wasn't right the moment we met him."
Axel: "But you, we could tell you were scared of him."
Olivia: "Meaning, you weren't encouraging what he's planning, right?"
Pearl: "That's right. Now, we must go quickly."
She swam and we just followed her. We trusted her now. But I couldn't help but wonder, what did Saturn do to Petra that we need to see to believe?
