When we all got there, we took our Breather Bubbles off and we all just laid on the beach for a solid minute or two.
Petra: "Well, we asked for an adventure."
Olivia: "And we really got one."
Lukas: "We need a break from adventures for a while."
Order of the Pig: "Agreed!"
We all laughed and sat up. Pearl dragged herself over to Petra and handed her a Breather Bubble.
Pearl: "I think this belongs to you."
Petra smiled and took it.
Pearl: "I've felt horrible ever since I took it from you."
Petra hugged her.
Petra: "I forgive you and thank you."
We walked over to Ivy and Caleb. Caleb was giggling and playing in the sand. Reuben went to join him.
Axel: "You're going back to Subtropolis."
Ivy: "Yes. It is our home. And this is yours. Home is very important."
She looked and Caleb and Reuben playing and smiled.
Ivy: "Family is very important too. Not necessarily family by blood. But by heart. The people you love. They are you're real family."
I hugged her.
Jesse: "I'm so happy I met you."
Ivy: "Me too."
Olivia: "We're really grateful for everything, you've done."
Lukas: "Thank you."
Ivy: "No. Thank you, my friends. You've all set us free."
Caleb looked up at me and smiled.
Caleb: "Jesse!"
I smiled and hugged the little merboy.
Jesse: "I'm gonna miss you, little buddy."
A tear slipped down my cheek. Reuben sniffed the little merboy's cheek. He giggled. We glanced over at Petra and Sammy. Pearl came over to us.
Pearl: "Best to give them some alone time. To say goodbye."
