Chapter 14 - Reunited!

JESSE'S POV

Pearl lead us through quite a few passage ways that she told us very few people know about and most of them hadn't even been used in years. Soon, we finally made it to the cave. We saw Petra hugging a merman. When we saw her, we were overjoyed!

Jesse, Olivia, Axel & Lukas: "Petra!!"

Petra: "Everyone!!"

We swam up to her and hugged her through the bars.

Petra: "Thank goodness you're all ok!"

Lukas: "Thank goodness we're ok?! Thank goodness you're...!"

They swam back and looked down at me.

Lukas: "... ok?"

Jesse: "You're a... mermaid?"

Petra looked at Pearl.

Petra: "You didn't tell them?"

Pearl: "It wasn't something I could put into words so easily. They needed to see it for themselves and they needed to hear it from you. I told them you weren't hurt. You were just a bit different."

Axel: "What did Saturn do to you?"

Petra: "He used his trident to turn me into a mermaid. I assume Pearl told you what Saturn wants to do."

Pearl: "No actually. They already knew most of the details."

Petra: "Really?"

Pearl: "Yes, they were already on their way here when I found them."

Petra: "Who told you?"

Jesse: "My friend, Ivy. That mermaid Reuben and I met on the way to the palace when we first arrived."

Petra: "Wait, and what happened to Kelpie?"

Olivia: "She helped us out with him too."

Petra: "Good riddance."

She said under her breath.

Axel: "She told us a few thing that were kind of hard to believe. Such as..."

Sammy came out from behind Petra.

Lukas: "... you have a twin brother..."

Jesse: "... from another mother."

Petra: "Yes. Guys, this is Sammy. My twin brother. Sammy, these are my friends. Jesse, Lukas, Olivia, Axel and Reuben."

Jesse, Olivia, Axel & Lukas: "Hello!"

Sammy: "A pleasure to meet you all."

Jesse: "You've been taking care of Petra?"

Sammy: "Of course. I would never let anything bad happen to her."

Jesse, Olivia, Axel & Lukas: "Thank you."

Lukas: "So much."

Sammy: "Not a problem at all."

Jesse: "Petra, there was something else that Ivy told us."

Olivia: "She told us the kraken is real."

Axel: "And it's in there with you."
