Chapter 13 - A Talk with Saturn

PETRA'S POV

Sammy was waiting back at the cave entrance. Meanwhile, I was with Bailey.

Sammy: "Petra, they should be back... soon? What are you doing?"

When he came back he saw me on the cave floor, messing around in the sand.

Petra: "I was bored so I tried to make a sand castle. Now that I think about it, it's a pretty silly thing to try and do underwater."

Sammy laughed.

Sammy: "Sand castle? I haven't made one of those in years."

Petra: "Really?"

Sammy: "Yeah. Like you said, you can't really make them down here."

Petra: "Well, what do you do down here?"

He smiled and looked at Bailey.

Sammy: "You wanna show her, buddy?"

Bailey wiggled with excitement. Sammy swam down to me and took my hand.

Sammy: "Let us show you how to have fun in this cave."

I smiled and let him take me. Bailey swam to the middle of the cave.

Petra: "Sammy, what's he doing?"

Sammy: "Trust us. This is fun."

With my hands in his, he started leading me in a circle around the cave.

Sammy: "Alright, Bailey! Clockwise!"

He started spinning to the right.

Sammy: "The other way, goofball!"

I giggled. Bailey started spinning to the left. Sammy smiled at me.

Sammy: "You ready?"

Petra: "I think so."

Sammy: "Hold on."

Bailey then started to spin faster and faster. It formed a current circling around the cave.

Sammy: "On the count of 3, I'm going to let go of you're hands."

Petra: "Don't you dare!"

Sammy: "And you're going to stop kicking and relax."

Petra: "Are you crazy?!"

Sammy: "Maybe a little."

He smiled.

Petra: "Heh. Dork."

I smiled.

Sammy: "Ok. 1... 2... 3!"

He let go of my hands and I relaxed my body. But I didn't stop or sink. I kept going with to current. It was relaxing.

Sammy: "And you were scared."

He teased.

Petra: "Oh, shush you."

I giggled. I looked over at Bailey. He was still spinning.

Petra: "Does he get dizzy?"

Sammy: "Not as easily as you and I would. Even if he stops... you know what, I'll show you. You can stop spinning now, Bailey."

Bailey stopped spinning. But the current kept going.

Petra: "Cool! I love this!"

I smiled.
