Oceane
"So, Miss Smith. Your friends have made a deal. If you compromise, we'll go through with it." Hardy said.
I nodded slowly.
"We, won't try and kidnap you again if you give us the 2010 and file. If we compromise up until the new year at least, we get the other file. Basically you 5 months of freedom from us. At least. Who knows what happens in between now and then." He shrugged.
"I agree." I croaked and pushed my hair back.
"Good! So does the boss. So we got to a good negotiation! Now, all you have to do is stay here a tad longer and you can be released."
I nodded slowly with a cold stare as he walked out of the room with Christian...
Emma
Since the whole accident with Alec I've been... wearier of these men... he sexually assaulted me... Drew is my safety net. I know as long as I'm with him I'm safe. I also promised him that no-one would hurt him again.
And that's going to be included in my vows to him.
I'm not as scared as I was... I'm just about woos y. Drew said that's the effect of the gas that we inhaled.
"...So it must have been through the vents. Okay, that's the next security measure I'm taking care of the second we get home." He said as we leant against the wall.
"I can't believe we're not safe in our own house..." I scoffed and shook my head.
"We will be now. I'm sure of it."
I nodded as the door opened again after a while.
"Okay! Let's get to that folder! Just know, If I don't get that folder, your friend Oceane won't be getting out of here any time soon."
"I stick to my word." Drew nodded.
"Okay blondie! You first."
"Hang on! One, don't call her blondie. Two, why are we going separately?"
"Makes transportation easier. She'll be going with Christian here." He nodded behind him where Christian gave me a reassuring look.
"Okay." he sighed.
Drew nodded and I walked over to go with Christian.
"I promise you you're going to be safe." Christian said as he tied a blind around my face.
"...okay..."
He guided me outside and I felt the cool breeze as I was suddenly aware of my surroundings....
Back at home, the blindfold was gently taken off and Christian stood in front of me.
"Do you know where it is?" he raised a brow.
"No. Drew takes care of all that."
he nodded and looked around "Nice place you got here."
"Yes. It is. It's going to take a while to get that awful gas smell out." I raised a brow.
"Yeah sorry about that. Hardys old fashioned that way. You and Oceane will suffer symptoms for a few days. Women are more susceptible to it."
"Great." I rolled my eyes.
"It wears off though." he shrugged.
The back door opened and Drew was walked inside.
I went over to him and quickly took the blindfold off and he hugged me.
