Drew
Flashback: 2009
"So. What is it about the attention from girls at school you didn't like?" Doc said to me.
I slouched and folded my arms saying "I suppose or would have to be the whole... Not looking beneath the surface thing. I mean I don't speak to anyone. How did these girls know they liked me if they hadn't spoken to me? I don't find consider myself an attractive guy. But doc, I'm not exaggerating. It was embarrassing. Not for me, for them."
"I see... But would it be a fair statement to say that you brood?"
I laughed slightly and said "yeah I brood."
"And don't you think there lies mystery?"
"Me mysterious? I suppose." I shrugged.
"Tell me, Andrew. When you come across a puzzle or mystery... Like when you crack codes and firewalls and the system has unexpected security. What do you want to do?"
"Solve it of course." I raised a brow.
"And that's why people are so interested in you. Because your Mysterious and want to solve you. And yes, as you've told me, if they go around saying they find you attractive that just plays part in it."
"I see.."
"Andrew, if you want that kind of connection with someone, letting them solve your mystery is what's best. As you've said, you'll know in your heart when the right
girl comes along. You'll just... click..."

"You're here... You're really here..." Emma said as she hugged me tightly.
"What's it been? 5 months? God I've missed you." I lifted her up slightly off the floor and held her hair in my grasp
"Christmas is finally Christmas! How long you in town for?" She asked
"Day after Christmas." I nodded slowly.
"So not a moment to loose..."
I held her cheek and watched her eyes as we both smiled, my arm still about her waist.
"Am I interrupting?" Oceane Smith came into the living room and we slightly distanced ourselves.
"Of course not! I was just saying hi, you know before Flynn comes home so they can um... catch up." Em patted my shoulder.
"Of course. Nice to see you Drew." She smiled and picked up her glass before going back down the hall.
"She thinks something's going on between us.," Em sighed as she sat down.
"And whatever gave her that impression?" I said as I sat with her.
"You can disagree but we're pretty close you know. If I didn't know better I would totally think we're a thing." She placed her legs over mine.
"Me too. The thought is quite strange." I said as I placed my hands on top.
"Yeah. Us? Together?" She scoffed slightly.
We looked to eachother and I said "definitely a strange idea..."
"But we're not going to stop being close are we?" She raised s brow.
"Nope. It's a nice feeling, wouldn't you agree?" I raised mine to match.
"And that it is. We're such good friends we even had that kiss after my prom! How many friends would do that for eachother?"
