Fire on Fire by Sam Smith^

I was running around her in circles, constantly watching her face every time I came around. I couldn't help but laugh as I knew she was getting irritated with me, but it was fun messing with her.

She quickly grabs my arm and makes me stop in front of her. I watch as she looks at me. "Stop."

"Why?" I smile.

She gently grabs my face and pulls me close. I felt my breath hitch as her perfume intoxicated me. I stared into her deep brown eyes, the ones that I fell in love with and was completely lost.

I saw her mouth curve into a smile and it made my heart flip. "Please." She begged, softly.

I felt my knees start to feel weak as I tried to not pass out from her presence. "Ok." I breathed out.

She let me go then walked around me, leaving me breathless as I slowly followed behind.

We came into the kitchen and I saw Casey standing there, sipping her drink. She kept checking her phone then noticed us and sat her drink down.

"I'm about to be late for work."

I sat at the table with Jordan as she watched us. "And?" I questioned.

She rolls her eyes, sighing. "I just need to make sure you're both in decent shape before I walk out that door."

"Here we go again." Jordan mumbled.

Casey stared at her. "Excuse me?"

I shook my head as I knew what was coming. I placed my head in the palm of my hand, leaning my elbow against the table and watched them.

"Casey, you don't have to stay here every single day. How many times do I have to tell you?"

Casey chuckled. "I mean, it's my job-"

"No." Jordan said. "It is not your job. Your job is being a therapist. Your job is taking care of people's problems. Which you're not doing by staying here."

Casey glances at me. "You both are my problem. You've been my problem for over ten years now."

Jordan shakes her head. "No. We're not your patients, Casey. You don't have to worry about us."

"I'm always worried about you." She says.

"Why?" Jordan asks.

Oh boy.

Here we go.

Casey shakes her head. "Why? God, Jordan. How many times have you asked that in the last ten years? Why? You both know why." She looks at me. "I'm concerned for your health, and your relationship or whatever you may call it."

"Why?"

Casey was becoming irritated. "Jordan.." She takes a deep breath. "What you're doing is very unhealthy. You, at your age, should know that it's toxis as hell to be doing what you're doing."

"What am I doing?" Jordan ask.

I sigh as I kept my eyes away from them as much as I could.

"You're kidding, right? Jordan, you and Alexis are in a very dangerous situation right now. You may not know it, but it's unhealthy and it's going to cause so many problems."

Jordan chuckled. "Like it hasn't already? We're adults, Casey. We know what we're doing."

Casey gave her a look. "Oh, really? What do you call this?" She motions between us.
