Cocaine by Jez Dior^
"Oh thank the Lord you're back!" Casey says as soon as I walk into the kitchen. She ran her hand through her hair. "I am so done with this shit."
I stared at her until I heard someone walking in and without warning, I was being wrapped into a tight hug.
Knowing it was Jordan, I smiled then turn around to face her. I wrap my arms around and hug her tightly. "Did you miss me?"
I felt her nod against my shoulder and it made me smile. "Very much."
"She was driving me crazy." Casey said.
"That's not true." Jordan said as we pulled back.
Casey placed her hands on her hips. "Oh, really?"
I look over at Jordan as she was looking at me. She shrugs. "She's lying."
"What was she doing?" I chuckled.
Casey groaned. "Bothering me about where you were or when you were coming back. Like, I have all the answers!"
I look over at Jordan as she was shaking her head then she looks over at me and smiles. I smiled back then wrap my arm around her shoulder. "I'm here now."
I guess I forgot to mention another thing about Jordan that has changed; she's super clingy now. She doesn't like being alone, it drives her crazy.
Usually I take her places with me, but sometimes I need time alone and she understands that, but she still hates it.
It's cute, but I just want to know why she's acting like that since she's never been like that before.
Casey runs her hands down her face. "Ok, so I have to go meet someone." She looks between us for a moment. "Are you-"
"Yes, we're ok." Jordan says. "Go."
After a few moments of Casey standing there, watching us, she finally left. I heard Jordan sigh then she moves away from me and walks over to the counter.
Watching her for a moment, I walk over towards her and stand next to her. She shuts her eyes and takes a deep breath then slowly lets it out.
When she opens her eyes, she looks over at me. "I wish Casey would understand.." She shakes her head. "we're not the same anymore like we were years ago."
Nodding, I couldn't agree more. "She's still going through what we went through and she's having a hard time accepting the fact that.. that's not us anymore."
"Why?"
Smiling, I grab the side of her shirt and pull her towards me. She wraps her arms around my neck and my arms around her back.
Staying in the position, I knew that we've accepted what we are and what we've been through, but a lot of people would see a disaster rather than the rainbow after the storm.
In my eyes, this was perfection to me. Jordan was perfection to me. She has always been perfection even when she was at her worst, which was almost all the time back then, but that didn't stop me from calling her perfect.
I'm happy now and nothing could take that away. I haven't been this happy in years and that's hard for me to say from everything that I have been through in the past. Jordan causes my happiness and she has always been the reason.

"So, when do I get to meet this friend of yours?" I ask Kaylee as we were all sitting at the table.
She looks at me then swallows her food. "Well, you could of met her if you were here, Alexis." She grinned.
Rolling my eyes, I restrained myself from throwing a pea at her. "Sorry, but I had stuff to do."
"Excuses." She giggles.
I shook my head then took a sip of my drink. My eyes landed on Jordan as she was sitting across from me and I watched as she was cutting into her piece of chicken.
Watching her, I couldn't help but smile but of course that caught someone's attention. I look over to see Kaylee smiling at me and I picked up a pea then threw it at her.
She laughed as she moved out of the way, then she looks over at Jordan. I watch her for a moment as they were talking about something but my mind really wasn't paying attention.
After dinner, I helped Jordan clean up as Kaylee went upstairs to her room. I looked at the entrance of the kitchen as soon as she left, then looked over at Jordan.
"Can I stay the night?" I ask.
She looks over at me as she was washing dishes. "Of course. You don't need to ask."
"I mean, I need to make sure." I smiled.
I still have my apartment, but I don't like staying there much and I'm always over here. It's like my second home and even though I know Jordan doesn't care that I stay the night, I still ask.
I wiped a bowl down then placed it in the cabinet. "Am I sleeping in your room?"
"Duh." Jordan chuckles. "Alexis, really?"
"Really what?" I ask.
She looks at me with an amused look on her face. "Why are you asking these questions that you already know the answer to?"
"Cause I like asking to make sure."
Shaking her head, she looks at me with a smile. "I don't know what to do with you sometimes." She cups my cheek and stares at me before leaning in.
My breath was caught short as we were leaning towards each other. My heart was beating rapidly and I swear it was about to explode.
"Hey mom," Kaylee came walking in and we both pull back.
Stepping away a little, I glanced over at Jordan as she was talking to Kaylee. I caught her stealing glances at me and every time she looked away, I caught a small smile.
