Three Years Later
I quickly hid under the blanket that was supported by the couch and a few chairs, mostly covered the whole living room, but it still left some space for walking.
With my heart pounding, I sat next to Kaylee as she had her knees up to her chest. We looked at each other as I heard noises. I could feel my heart in my throat as I was sitting there in complete terror mode.
"Is this what the end feels like?" Kaylee whispers as she brought her face down to her knees.
Shaking my head, I let out a breath. "Not sure." I kept listening for any sounds but it was too quiet.
I heard some noises on the left side of me, where the entrance to the fort was. I stared at it as I could hear my heart start pounding again, after it had just slowed down to normal.
Looking up, I saw a shadow and I slowly tapped Kaylee's shoulder then pointed up when she looked over at me. I could see the fear in her eyes as she saw the shadow too.
"Slowly start crawling." I whispered.
She did what I said and I followed her, as I was crawling too. We tried to be as quiet as we could, but it was no use as I felt someone grab ahold of my ankle.
Grabbing ahold of Kaylee, she stopped and turned to look at me. She looked behind me then quickly turns around then grabbed my arms to pull me.
I felt my ankle start being pulled and I knew that Kaylee could not pull me away hard enough. I shook my head as I looked at her.
"Just let me go."
Kaylee shook her head. "No, Alexis!"
I held my lips together as I hung my head down then looked back up at her. I started chuckling and instantly groaned as I broke character.
"Dang it, Alexis!" Kaylee let my arms go and I fell to the ground before being pulled out from the fort.
I rolled over on my back to look up at Jordan. I couldn't help but laugh then I heard Kaylee crawling from under the fort. I pull myself up with Jordan's help then look over at Kaylee as she was looking at me.
"I'm sorry." I chuckled. "I suck at acting."
Kaylee shook her head. "That was intense though. It actually made me kind of scared."
I watched as Jordan shook her head and I smiled over at her. I love playing games with them cause it's so dramatic with Kaylee and a little scary with Jordan.
"Who's going to clean this up?" Kaylee asks as she was looking around the living room.
Jordan crosses her arms. "You was the one that wanted to play."
Kaylee taps her chin. "Hmm.. Alexis." She smiles. Jordan kept staring at her then Kaylee pouted. "Fine." She walks off then starts grabbing the blankets.
As I was walking Kaylee, Jordan wraps her arms around my neck then leans her chin on my shoulder. I smile as I place my hand on her arm as my eyes were on Kaylee.
It's been three years.
Three amazing years with Jordan.
I couldn't explain how happy I am at this moment. Everything in my life was so perfect, it was a little scary. Everything was on the right path now.
It didn't take long for us to declare our love for each other again. It was about a month after that night we danced at that party of Casey's friends.
After that night, I felt something so strong that I knew it had something to do with Jordan. I've always loved Jordan more than anything in this world, and I knew that my love for her never died even when we both thought it did.
We came a long way and we have forever to go.
As we were standing there, Jordan whispers in my ear. "After Kaylee cleans up, I want us to go upstairs."
Turning my head, I look at her as she was smiling at me before gently kissing me. I smiled as we pull back and I knew exactly what she was thinking.
It may have taken a few years to get on a whole other level with Jordan, and by that I meant sexual, but it's been happening a lot lately.
I'm not complaining, I'm just happy to see Jordan very active, if you know what I mean.
After Kaylee was done, she looks over at us. "Can I go to Dakota's?"
"Of course." Jordan smiles. "Drive safe, ok? I love you. Let me know when you get there!"
Kaylee gave us both a hug before practically running out of the house. I chuckle as I watch her then turn towards Jordan as she had a smile on her face.
Without hesitation, she grabs my hand then leads me upstairs. I follow behind her as my heart was beating pretty fast in my chest. I tried breathing normally but it was a little difficult.
We walked into the room then Jordan shuts the door. She turns towards me and smiles before wrapping her arms around my neck and gently kissing me. I grab her hips and kiss her back as I felt her start nibbling on my bottom lip.
She pulls back and looks at me. "I have an idea."
"What?"
Leaning close to where our lips were basically touching, she breaths out. "Let's do it in the shower."
Grabbing my hand and leading me to the bathroom, I couldn't help but smile as I saw Jordan smiling. She shut the bathroom door and started stripping out of her clothes.
I took this time to look her over before she walks over to me and helping me out of my clothes. After we were both standing there naked, she turns the shower on and I stand there with my arms crossed.
"Why couldn't you turn the shower on then wait for the water to get hot then get naked?"
She smiles over at me. "Cause I wanted to see you naked."
My face started turning red and I heard her chuckle. "My nibbles are hard."
She starts laughing before unwrapping my arms and wrapping hers around me. I wrap my arms around her and she leans her head against my shoulder.
After a moment or two, she pulls back then places her hand under the water. She grabs my hand and we both get into the shower.
The moment the hot water hit my body, it felt so damn good. Standing there for a few seconds in the chilly air was torture and I hated it.
I watched as Jordan washed her hair, then I did the same. We took turns under the water, but as we were squeezing by each other, our boobs or asses would touch, depending on which way we went.
"Let me wash your back."
I smiled then turned my back towards her as she was getting the body wash and sponge ready. As she was rubbing my back, I couldn't help but smile as I stared at the shower wall in front of me.
This was my life now and I honestly couldn't ask for anything better. This is what I've been wanting forever and now that I finally got it, again.. I will not let anything ruin it.
