Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion^
"Are you sure you don't want to come, Kaylee?" Jordan asks as she was slipping on her shoes. We were all ready to go to this party, who was friends with Casey, and we had about an hour to get there.
Kaylee nods then says that she'll just stay with Dakota for a little while.
I watch as Jordan kisses Kaylee on the forehead and tells her to be good. I gave her a hug before walking out of the door, which Casey was rushing us out of.
We all piled into the car, I was in the backseat while J0rdan was in the front with Casey as she drove.
I looked out the window as we were backing out the driveway then got onto the road. Listening to their conversation, I stared out the window.
As I was watching the trees, I couldn't help but think about the past.

"I'm in love with Jordan." I tell Casey as we were in the kitchen cooking breakfast.
She looks over at me with an expression I can't read. "I know."
I watch her for a moment. "How did you know? I haven't even told anybody let alone Jordan."
She chuckles. "Alexis, it doesn't take a dumb person to figure it out. I can see the way you stare at her and for God sake, you're here all the time, which I'm not complaining but it's obvious."
"Do you think Jordan knows?"
She stays quiets for a moment until she faces me. "Alexis, if she knew, she wouldn't be around you as much." I gave her a confused look. "Jordan is a very difficult person, and being in love may not be one of her motives."
"What do you mean?"
"She won't fall for you." That broke my heart. She must have saw the look I had, so she specified. "What I meant was that she won't fall for you so quickly.. or not at all." She whispered the last part. "It's going to take some time."
"That's all you've been telling me, Casey. How long is what I want to know."
She shakes her head then sighs. "Months? Years? I really don't know, Alexis."

"Alexis?"
I look towards the front of the car where Casey was looking at me. "We're here." She smiles as she gets out.
Sighing, I get out, not ready for this stupid shit. It's been so long since I was at a party and I feel like an old person now.
Jordan smiles at me then grabs my hand as we follow Casey to the house. We meet someone standing at the front, who tells us that the party is out in the backyard.
As we were walking, I felt Jordan's hand tighten around mine and I look over at her. She smiles at me then looks around. I advert my eyes away and look around as there were a ton of people here.
It looked cool as hell though. There were lights hanging from lines all around the trees. The way it looks just made everything seem a little more fancy or whatever the word is.
Casey turns towards us. "Have fun, ok?" She looks at both of us. "Please."
"Where are you going?" Jordan asks.
Smiling, Casey looks around. "To get some drinks. Want one?" She asks Jordan, then looks over at me.
I shake my head and that gained an eye roll from her. She excused herself then walks away. I shook my head as I looked around at everyone and regretted this decision now.
