Because of you

Chapter 2

Harvey pov

I was just on my way home when I heard someone crying. I looked around and saw a girl around my age crying on a bench. I went to her and sat beside her. I placed a hand on her shoulder and she looked at me. Her eyes were red and the tears kept falling.

"Hey, hey, breath slowly, in and out, in and out, in and out," I tried to calm her down.

She started breathing more slowly and she calmed down a bit, but the tears wouldn't stop.

"What's wrong?" I asked carefully.

"My... my mom.. she's...," she started crying heavier again.

"Easy, breath slowly," I tried to calm her down again. Not the best idea to ask that. Well done, Harvey.

"She's dying," she said while tears kept streaming.

I was so shocked at that, I immediatly pulled her in for a hug and felt my shirt getting wet, I didn't care. I rubbed her back as she calmed down in my arms. We sat there for a while like that, untill her phone started buzzing. She looked at it and she stood up.

"I have to go home, but thank you so much," she said, a sad smile on her lips.

"You know what, I'll give you my number, call or text me whenever you want. I'm Harvey by the way," I smiled.

She handed me her phone and I typed my number, sending myself a message.

"I'm here for you," I said as I handed back her phone.

"Thank you," she hugged me and then left.

Emma's pov

I was crying when this really sweet guy came to me and calmed me down. He gave me his number and asked le to call him, he's one of the sweetest guys I've ever met, and he's cute.

I rode back home, still thinking whether I should go tomorrow or not. I don't want to give myself trauma's. It will make it worse, but I want to say goodbye. I really don't know what to do.

I came home and talked with my parents for a while. They really were there for me. I went up to my room and just laid down, thinking. My head hurted and it was driving me crazy

I fell asleep while crying. I still had no idea what I would do. I woke up in the middle of the night. I looked up at my phone and saw it was only 1:30am. I also had a message of Harvey.

Hey, are you okay? Xx

I smiled at it, I didn't think he would actually be worried about me. He is really sweet. I turned off my phone and tried to sleep again. After a long time, the darkness finally took over me.

I woke up at 7:30am and I had made my decision.
