Chapter 24

Emma pov

Before I could do something, the police came and pulled them off of each other.

"What seems to be the problem?" the policeman asked.

"He attacked me," my stephdad said.

"Maybe you forgot to mention that you called her a slut," Harvey shouted, while wiping some blood away from his nose. I stepped closer to him as I wanted to give him a tissue.

"Stay back," the policeman shouted.

"Why?" I asked.

"He's dangerous," the police said.

"He didn't do anything? Is it wrong to protect his girlfriend? To protect himself?" I asked angry.

"We have to talk this through on the office, take them," the policeman said.

"What? Don't yoiu have bettee things to do? Like catching a thief? A murderer?" I said angrily.

"Calm down, miss," the police said.

"Why would I? You're taking an innocent guy with you," I kept on shouting.

"Emma, it's okay, we'll be okay," Harvey said calmly, but I could see the anger in his eyes. And with that, they took my stephdad and Harvey.
