Harvey pov

I'm seeing Emma today. I know she's going through a hard time and all I want is to be there for her. It's funny, I know her since yesterday, I found her crying, but I already want to be there for her. I never felt this before. I don't even know her. I will change that today. She will probably be broken, but I don't care. If she needs to cry, I will let her cry and I will calm her down.

"Harvey!" I heard someone yell.

I looked up and saw my brother, Elliott, in the doorway.

"Man, you are far away, I called for like 4 times," he nagged.

"What do you want?" I asked annoyed. I love my brother, but I also love being alone.

"Want to hang out?" he asked.

"I can't, need to leave in an hour," I said.

"That girl?" he asked.

I nodded. I told him about Emma. Elliott is not only my brother, but I also consider him my best friend.

"You think you can handle it?" he asked.

"I don't know, but I want to help her."

"What are you guys gonna do than?" he asked.

"I think mainly talk, maybe I'll take her here to introduce her to my music," I said.

"Maybe you can write a song about her, about the situation," Elliott said.

"That's an idea," I said thinking.

Elliott and I continued talking untill the bell rang.

"I'll go," I said.

"Nope, you're not," Elliott said and started running out of my room, closing the door in my face.

"Elliott! No, stop!" I yelled.

We both ran towards the door, but he was faster as he cheated. He opened the front door and I stumbled in on Elliott. Emma stood there, laughing at what she just saw.

"Hello too," she laughed. Her laugh is so beautiful.

"Elliott, go away," I said glaring at him. He laughed and went into the living room.

"Come in," I smiled at her.

We went straight to my room and she sat on my bed. She smiled, but I could see the sadness in her eyes.

"How are you now?" I asked concerned.

"I'm okay, I guess."

"So, I was wondering if you would like to hear a song? My friend, who is in a band, wrote it and he is kinda unsure about it, can I sing it for you?" I asked.

"Yes, please, I love music," she smiled.

I picked up my guitare and started playing.

How can someone be right here
And then without a warning disappear?
If you were just talking on the phone
Then in a moment a silent tone

Why'd you leave
Why'd you go
When you leave
Where'd you go

I see you when I look to the stars
Eternal, eternal we are
I feel it right here deep in my heart
Eternal, eternal we are

Emma pov
Harvey was singing a song for me, it was beautiful, his voice is beautiful, but the lyrics made me cry. Tears were streaming down my face as he sang it. It reminded me of my mom so hard. The tears wouldn't stop falling.

I looked down, still crying, the lyrics got through me really deep.

Memories were flashing in my mind, she wasn't even dead yet, but it was too much. I was so deep in thoughts that I didn't even noticed that Harvey stopped playing, untill I felt his arms around me. I hid my face in his chest as I let the tears stream.

We sat there like that for a while, untill I calmed down. I feel so safe with him. It's like we know each other for years. No one ever helped me through something the way he did and I was so greatfull for him.
