Emma pov

I was watching Twilight and scrolling through twitter when suddenly my phone started ringing. I read my uncle his name on the display and I knew it couldn't be something good.

I walked to the kitchen as my grandparents had fallen asleep on the couch.

"Hello," I said softly picking up.

"Hey, Emma, it's your uncle," he said.

"Yes," I only said.

"I'm sorry to say this, she passed away," he said, I heard the sadness in his voice. Tears started streaming down my face.

"Thanks for calling," I cried through the phone.

"If something is wrong, just call me and I'll come and pick you up," he said.

"Thank you so much," I said and we ended the call.

I couldn't stand straight anymore and sat to the wall.

I dailed my stephmother her number and waited for her to pick up.

"Hello," she said.

"She's gone," I cried.

"I'm so sorry," my stephmom said.

"I don't know what to do," I cried. In the meantime my grandmother was in the kitchen.

"What's wrong?" she asked.

I ignored her and kept on talking to my stephmother.

"Jack is here with me, if you want to talk to him," she said.

"Yes, please," I said.

I talked to him for a couple of minutes and then he gave my stephmom back.

"You're father will call you tonight," she said.

"Thank you," I said and ended the call. I looked at my grandmom, I know she knows the situation and it annoyed me so hard that she acted like she didn't. My parents told them a couple days ago.

"She's gone," I said and ran upstairs.

I laid on my bed and started playing music.

Did you lose what won't return?
Did you love but never learn?
The fire's out but still it burns
And no one cares, there's no one there

Did you find it hard to breathe?
Did you cry so much that you could barely see?
You're in the darkness all alone
And no one cares, there's no one there

I couldn't listen to it anymore. I started crying uncontrollably and did the only thing I could think of. I dailed Harvey his number and waited for him to pick up.

"Hello?" he said.

"Harv, she's gone. It's over," I cried over the phone.

"F*ck, where are you? I'll come and pick you up," he said. I could hear the shock in his voice.

"I'm at *adress*."

"Alright, I'll be there in 10 minutes," he said.

"Thank you," I cried.

I ran downstairs and made myself ready. I grabbed my stuff and went upstairs again. I have to get my mind off things, or it will go wrong.
