Harvey pov

It was 2am when I heard her screaming.

"NO, PLEASE, NO." It was Emma.

She was shaking next to me, her skin wet from the sweat, her breathing heavy and she looked terrified. She had a nightmare.

"Emma, wake up," I whispered softly.

"NO, STOP," she kept on screaming.

"Emma, wake up," I said, louder this time, while I took her in my arms.

"NO," she screamed one last time before her eyes flashed open and she started crying uncontrollably. I felt her tears on my bare skin.

"It was just a dream, you're going to be okay," I tried to calm her down.

She finally started calming down, but I still felt tears falling down. I rubbed her back trying to let her know I was there.

"I'm sorry," she said after she calmed down.

"You don't have to say sorry, baby, it's not your fault," I whispered.

"But I woke you up," she stated.

"But I want you to feel safe," I said and pulled her in for a kiss.

Emma pov

The moment he kissed me, I forgot everything that had just happened.

I felt safe. I felt loved. I felt like everything would be okay.

We kissed for a while and we eventually fell asleep.

I woke up to see that no one was there. I started panicking. He left me. Why would he stay, I'm a nightmare, the only thing I do is crying. And once again, a tear slid down my cheek.

"What's wrong, baby?" I heard a voice.

To my big relieve, it was Harveys voice.

"I thought you left me," I said.

"I would never leave you," he said and came to sit on the bed.

"I'm sorry," I said looking down.

"Stop saying you're sorry, and now, come with me downstairs, I made breakfast," he said while pulling me up.
