Chapter 14

Harvey pov

After she laid the rose on the coffin Emma ran away outside. I followed her and found her crying and hyperventilating. I started panicking at first, but then I remembered what you need to do. They need to stop breathing for a couple of seconds, so the only idea that popped in my head was kissing her.

I ran to her and turned her around kissing her full on the lips. She frooze at first, but when I let go she fell in my arms.

Emma pov

When I saw it was Harvey that kissed me I just fell in his arms. That exact moment it stopped raining and the sun was breaking through the clouds. I saw it as a sign.

"Why?" I asked him after a while.

"I wanted to calm down your breathing," he said.

"Well, it worked," I smiled weakily.

"And maybe because I love you," he added silently.

"You what?" I asked.

"Emma, from the moment I saw you I wanted you to be mine."

"The first time you saw me I was crying, and now you're telling me you love while I'm crying," I laughed softly.

"I immediatly saw you have a whole story in you," he said, looking me in the eye.

"Harvey, I love you too," I said and pulled him in for another hug.

"Will you please give me the honour and be my girlfriend?" he asked.

"Harv, you know I still have to go through a hard period and it won't be easy," I said.

"I know, but I want to be there for you," he said.

"Than yes," I smiled.
