around my shoulder, bringing me back to reality. I couldn't speak all I could do was nod, it was like my body was frozen in shock seeing them together. They held hands and walked back to the car. Yeah Christina was one of my favorite people but I couldn't be near them right now. It hurts too much. Yeah I knew I'd never date Corbyn but seeing him fall for someone so much better than me so easily..it didn't feel real. I didn't want it to be real. school tomorrow morning anyways" I say before getting in the car back seat as a tear rolled down my cheek that I wiped away. Tate day with me this time. We drove back and it was a little awkwardly quiet before Jonah said something "So Corbyn" He said and glanced at him "You and Christina?" He asks "Yeah man. We're together now" He says looking at Christina and she smiles. I leaned my head against the window not paying attention and just being caught up in my thoughts. Maybe if I wasn't such an idiot I could've been with him. Christina deserves him tho, they look happy together.
I fell asleep in the car after a while and started slowly waking up when someone was carrying me upstairs probably to my room. I just closed my eyes not really bothering to see who it was, I just wanted to sleep. I woke up the next morning in my bed. I checked the time 9:48 shit. I jumped out of bed and rushed to get dressed. I'm gonna be late I'm gonna be later I'm gonna be late. Class starts at 10 and it's a half an hour drive. I threw on a red cropped top because it was the first thing I found and some black leggings with vans. I grabbed my bag and called Corbyn at least 5 times before he answered "Hey can you get me a ride to class!?" I say and run downstairs.
"Yeah I'll be there soon" He said before hanging up. I went outside knowing he wouldn't take long. After a minute he got here and I rushed into the car. "Sorry for the late notice I just can't be late again" I say and try catching my breathe. "It's fine" He said before driving. He drove to my college and it was 10:27 when we got there "Thank you so much" I says and give him a quick hug before rushing out. I walked to the office to help show the new kid around the campus. "Sorry I'm late there was traffic" I lie to the principal who was waiting with the kid. He was kinda cute so at least today won't be so bad. "It's alright Ms. Marais, meet Owen" She says
and stands up and Owen does the same "He's your age and starting next week so help his out as much as you can to learn the campus" She explained and handed me a paper with his schedule before waking into her office. "Hey nice to meet you" I smile and look at him and he does the same. He had light green eyes and light brown hair with some freckles on his face. "I'm Owen- But you already knew that" He says and nervously laughs. His laugh was cute.
