chapter 18

We heard the door close to the studio downstairs and Corbyn leaned in again.
We kept kissing for probably another minute before I pulled away
"Go before he comes back up" I say while smiling.
"I don't wanna" He whines and hugs me, leaning his head on my shoulder, looking up at me.
"You're too cute" I smiled before leaning in to kiss him again.
"You're cuter" He smiled before leaning in for one kiss before getting up. "Well I guess I should go. Come with me tho you can hear me record my part of the song. Pleaseeeee" He asked doing a pouty lip which was adorable.
"Fine but just cuz I still wanna be near you" I

say and stand up
"Yay" He hugs me. We walked down to the living room area then down to the studio with Jonah setting up some stuff for the mics. He turned around to ask Corbyn to grab some piece of a thing for the microphone. There was a couch outside the recording area so I just sat down. After not that long they had almost finished setting up the stuff. Jonah stopped to check his messages
"Hey y/n Daniel is upstairs can you get the door" He asks and throws his phone back on the couch.
"Yeah sure" I get up to go upstairs and open the door for him. I opened the door and he was looking down at his phone
"Hey J-" He looked up "Oh hey y/n" He said

and a smile instantly grew on his face so I smiled too.
"Hii" I say and hug him.
"Oh also I have to update you on the Corbyn situation later, something happened" I say and close the door.
"Just tell me while we're in the studio" He says and we both start going downstairs
"I will just not around Jonah" I say and he nodded.
"Hey Daniel" Jonah says to him and waved.
They finished setting the stuff up and Corbyn was going in to record his part first.
The sound from inside the soundproof area played outside so we were able to hear him. The beginning strumming of the already recorded guitar intro started

I met her on a monday evening she was standing outside of the park and ride and i said hey ma where you been, been looking for a woman like you for all my life and she said hola talk to me before i have to leave and one day we could be maybe more than two lost souls just passing by
His voice was so soft and calming I could honestly listen to him sing all day if I could. He took off the headphones he had to wear and set them on the mic before walking out
"You sounded so good corbyn!!!!" I excitedly say.
"Thanks" He said with his smile growing
"Yeah man your voice went so well with the songs vibe" Jonah says
"He's right, this song fits your voice really

good" Daniel adds
"Thanks guys" He says to both of them. We listened back to his recording and they adjusted some stuff like the volume of his voice to the guitars sound in certain parts.
"Alright I'll go in next" Jonah says once they finished adjusting the stuff they just did and went in the recording area. Corbyn was still at the table where all the switches and buttons and stuff were for all that and Daniel was on the couch with me.
"So what happened with you and Corbyn" He asked quietly, basically whispering.
"So we might've sorta maybe kinda like... kissed" I whisper back
"WHAT" He shouts in shock. "How did it go- I mean like what happened are you guys

together now or what's happening?" He asks in a normal volume level this time
"I don't know.. we aren't dating. And it got kinda heated at one point but you don't just do that with someone you're friends with unless you have feeling for them like that.. right?"
"I don't know Corbyns logic is really weird. I could ask him about it if you want" He suggests.
"You could I just- I don't know. Maybe he doesn't wanna date me or anything like that. I mean he said him seeing me and you together made him realize he wanted me not Christina- wait- CHRISTINA OMG i haven't been able to talk to her since the day it happened because she's been avoiding me and I think this might be why" I say now realizing I haven't been able

to talk to her about anything about this whole situation. "Ugh I'm such a horrible friend" I mumble and buried my face in my hands.
"No you're not. Just try contacting her again, maybe she just wanted some space for a while?" He says attempting to make me feel better
"Yeah I guess. I'll try to call her later" I say and Corbyn sat on the other side of me on the couch.
"Jonah's gonna start" Corbyn said right before giving Jonah the signal that the mic was recording and he started singing his part
