Johnny's POV
When we got to the Curtis house I at least tried to lay Ava down on the couch but she started whining and held her hands up. "Johnny don't leave me."

She said pulling on my arm. "Okay."

I Said picking her back up, she laid her head down on my shoulder she stuck her thumb in her mouth and buried her face in the crock of my neck. "Ava look what we got here!"

Pony said trying to make her happy he walked in with her pacifier and blanket Ava moved her head to look and when she seen them she picked her head up. "Tanku ony."

She said quietly. "No problem chickie."

He said passing her, her blanket and pacifier she stuck it in her mouth very quickly and I smiled at her. "Hey Av's you wanted go and have a nap?"

Dally asked sitting down next to Me and Ava on the couch. "No."

She mumbled wrapping her arms around my neck. "Its Alright Av's you don't gotta."

Dally said looking at me concerned I sighed. After a few minutes Ava was asleep in my arms. "Johnny I know this is probably too soon to talk about but you think we should take Ava to the hospital?"

Darry asked sitting down. I had no idea what to say. "I don't know should we?"

I said looking up to Darry. "It's your call Johnny."

"Um how about we see how she is when she wakes up."

I said playing with my fingers. "Alright Johnny."

Darry said getting up from the couch, I laid Ava down. So her head was on my lap I wasn't gonna leave her I think she'd freak out if I wasn't there when she woke up, after a few minutes of Ava laying there she started tossing and turning like she was having a bad nightmare.

"No daddy."

She said quietly. "No don't hurt johnny please."

She whimpered out,the whole gang was listening to her then her hands moved to her face. "No! Daddy stop please!"

Was she reliving when our dad touched her, I started to shake her. "Ava Hey Ava Baby, wake up."

She shot up and started panting, she looked over to me and crawled on my lap. "Johnny."

She whimpered out wrapping her arms around my neck. "Baby it's okay it was just a dream."

I said rubbing her back. "Daddy's gonna hurt you."

She said holding on to me tighter. "No bubba he won't."

I said rubbing her back. She whimpered while she squirmed around on my arms, she was hurting I could tell. "Ava dose your bum still hurt."

"Yes."

She cried out squirming around. "Do you want us to take you to the doctor they can make the pain go away."

"No."

She said holding onto my shirt tightly. "Aw But Ava they'll make you feel better."

"No bubba I no want to."

She said shaking a bit. "Fine here's the deal Ava, if you can walk to dally you don't gotta go to the doctor."

Ava looked up from my shoulder and seen Dallas who was across the room, she nodded her head I though that this would be an easy walk. Dallas got down so he was at eye level with Ava. I sat her down and she wobbly started walking I stood up so if she fell I could catch her because it would probably hurt her a lot. Tears started to prick her cheeks and she was about to fall when Dallas got up and caught her. She wrapped her arms around dallas neck and hide her face in the crock of her neck. "Dawly hurts."

She cried holding onto him tightly. Dally rubbed her back and looked over to me. "Wh(hiccup)ere J-Joh(hiccup)nny?"

"Look Av's He's right there."

Dally said pointing to me. "J-John(hiccup)ny."

She said turning around and holding her arms out. "Hey baby, calm down."

I picked her up and she let out a loud sob. "J-Joh(hiccup)nny D-Da(hiccup)ddy H-Hu(hiccup)rt."

She said holding my shirt tighter. "Baby I know it's gonna be okay alright, he won't hurt you anymore."

I said rubbing her back, why couldn't I keep a promise ever. She sobbed into my shirt and I nodded to dally, I grabbed Ava's blanket and pacy, before the rest of us grabbed our shoes and I grabbed my jean jacket but laid on Ava. "Johnny n-n-no w-wan(hiccup)na g-go to ospital.."

She said holding onto my shirt tighter. "Hey shhhh it's okay baby."

She just pouted knowing their was nothing she could say that was gonna make me not take her to the doctors. When we got into Darry's truck everyone was quiet I couldn't believe this happened to my baby sister, I was supposed to protect her and I didn't do that.....

What kinda big brother am I?
