Part One
Y/n pov
I stretch my arms as I get up. Soft rays of sunlight shine through the window next to Asra and I's shared bedroom. Asra was on one of his trips, so I have to take care of the shop. I wish he could take me with him, but every time I as he says no. I know it's dangerous, but why would he go then. I push Faust off of my shoulder, gently. Asra insisted that I keep her here. I get dressed for the day and begin to walk around. I walk around the small kitchen as I look for something to eat. "We barely have anything..." I think to myself as my stomach grumbles, " I'll have to go out to the market place to restock." I look behind the counter and inspect the magical ingredients we always have. " We're low on myrrh... " I mumble aloud as I check the others. I see a few others needing replacements and make a mental list. I've always loved the forest. Everything about it was just calming, along with the fact that there was barely any people. Asra was one of the only people I could stand. Everyone else was always a bit to eccentric. I pull on my cloak and grab my basket with the coin purse in it. I pull on the hood and let Faust curl up across my shoulders. I head out the door and put the cross me not charm on the door. Asra's "friend", Julian, had a bad habit of breaking in... I head up the road and purchase a few items of food, such as fruit, meat, ect. I start to walk past the bread stand and slowly stop there. I walk over and ask if I could have a loaf of pumpkin bread. I thank him and drop a couple of coins down. I continue walking and getting everything I need. I quickly start to walk back to the shop. I see a small tarot hut. I giggle quietly to myself. I decide to amuse myself and walk in. " Hello, my dear. Coming for answers from the mysterious, secret veil?" The person says dramatically. It takes all my might not to break out in a burst of laughter. " Yes please." I say making a small bow, which they raise one of their eye brows at. I clear my throat and drop some more of my coins on the small table. " Aw. Now what is my dear costumer's name? " They ask, still trying to make it seem dramatic. " Y/n." I answer. The person grabs a card and places it before me. " Turn it when your ready. But beware! You may fear what you find!" They say, covering their face. I flip it to find the card the lovers. I lift the card and inspect it. " Thank you." I say. " Don't you want to know what it's saying?" They ask, getting up. I roll my eyes. " No thanks." I say, leaving the tent.
