Who else is so f*cking excited for Halloween? I can't wait. On a different note, I struggle writing for the other characters in the Arcana and would love any help I could get. Lucihoe I have down but the others are a bit difficult for me.

Y/n's pov

I sat on the sofa in the parlor, waiting for something to happen. Asra was out with Muriel, Julian was out running from the guards, and Portia was doing her duties. I was reading a particularly boring book that I had found off the shelf, when I heard footsteps approaching. "Noddy!" I heard the familiar voice call, " We might have a problem." I hear him come through the door. Nadia just rolls her eyes and goes back to writing her letters. "What's wrong, count?" I ask, curious. "The-" he stops mid sentence when he sees me," Noddy. Noddy!" He says, waving his arms in front of her. "Didn't y/n ask you what the matter is?" She says, still ignoring him. "Yes, but you might be the one who has an idea about what's happened!" Lucio retorts. " I might be able to help if you let me. " I ask, trying to prevent the possible fight. " The lake has frozen over, but everything is still sunny and warm here. Did your friend, Asra, have something to do with this? " He asks, folding his arms. I hesitate to answer. "He hasn't told me anything about freezing the lake. But if he did try to, it would be on a pond in the forest. I don't think it's his fault... " I say after thinking. " Well, that didn't help." He says, pouting. My heart starts to pound with excitement, "well until it defrosts, there's always activities we can do." I say. He raises his eyebrow with a smirk. "Oh my, y/n. Don't you move fast?" He says, moving closer and sitting down. My face burns with embarrassment. " Not in that way!" I exclaim, shooting up. He just laughs. " Like what?" Nadia says, her glare reeks of poison. " Like ice skating. Or something like that." I say, still blushing. Nadia looks a bit confused. " Ice skating? What is that? " She asks. I look at Nadia and Lucio's confused expressions. I get up and begin walking out. "Where do you think your going?" Lucio says, getting up after me. "To show you both ice skates." I answer. I walk out the door and go to my room to fetch a pair of my boots.

I walk back into the parlor to see both of them still confused. I hold out the pair of boots to them as even more confusion pours into their faces. I gigle at that a little and put a boot in each of my hands. I close my eyes a blade attaches to the bottom of them. Lucio looks stunned and Nadia just inspects them. "If you want to understand them more, then I can show you. But if not, I will be out side on the ice. " I say, putting the boots into one hand. I walk through the door as I feel two hands grab onto both of my arms. I look back to see Lucio and Nadia both stopping me." Wait for me." Nadia says, stepping next to me. Lucio nods in agreement as he loops his arm through mine, a cocky smile on his face. " I still prefer the original idea." He says, making my face burn. I lead them out through the halls as we slowly get to the front doors.
