Where the red fern grows ( Yandere! Muriel xreader )

This was requested by @kim_psychoand and @rainbowpigs222 for a one-shot a little bit ago and I hope you both like it! Sorry if it's short.

Y/n's pov

I wake up to see Muriel with his arms around me. I smile and curl into his body. " Morning," I say. Muriel slowly opens his eyes and does a small smile. " Morning, Y/n," he says, quietly. I smile at him. " What are we doing today?" he asks as snuggled into his chest. " Asra and Nadia asked us to tea, " I answer. Muriel sighs, gruffly. " I know you hate people, but they're our friends, " I say, twirling his hair with my finger. " I know, " He says, huffing. I sit up and stretch. " Come on, time to get up,"  I say, grabbing his hand. He slowly gets up. "We have about an hour before we leave. " I say. I get up on my tippy toes and peck him on the lips to receive a flustered Muriel looking back at me. I smile and then begin moving around to get ready for tea.

With hands entwined, I walk into the large wooden doors to be greeted by Nadia. " Y/n!" She says, " And Muriel!". I smile and embrace her as Muriel waves. Asia walks out with Portia and Julian. " Tea's ready, m'lady," Portia says. I smile and follow the group inside. I look back to see Muriel standing behind. I grab his hand and pull him inside. " It's ok," I whisper to him. We sit down.

After about half an hour, Lucio slams the door open. " I'm bored. Entertain me," he says, flopping down next to me. I smile, grimly. " Hello, Lucio," I say plainly. He turns to look at me and then moves his hand to my thigh. " Hello, cutie~," Lucio says, moving closer to me. I stand up and almost fall. " I-i'm going to the restroom! I'll be back." I say, dashing out. I close the door and exhale. I shake my head and walk over to the restroom down the hall. I walk in and go turn the sink on. I turn the cold water side on and toss some water on my face. " What a jerk," I say.  I turn the water off and walk back out. I begin to walk down the hall. A scream breaks my focus and I look around. I dash around the hall trying to find the source of the sound. I get to the door that the group was having tea in. Heart racing, I push the door open. Muriel grabs Julian and flings him against the wall. Nadia runs to her guards, yelling at them to attack. Portia races to her brother to help him. Asra shouts spells and light fragments flood the room. Asra is suddenly blacked out as Muriel charges the guards. Loud cracks sound in the room. The guards fall to the ground, bending in inhuman ways. I stand frozen in the doorway as Portia dashes to attack Muriel with a sword. Muriel lifts her and snaps her neck. Now covered in blood, Muriel storms to Lucio, who picks up the sword in panic and fear. Muriel grabs Lucio's hand and twists it. Lucio yelps in pain as he drops the sword. Muriel picks it up. "Didn't I say 'Don't ever touch Y/n again.'?" Muriel asks a new emotion in his eyes, " Now I'm going to make it so you never do again.".  Muriel uses the sword to cut off a layer of skin off of Lucio's hands. Lucio screams and Muriel smiles. " I warned you," Muriel says, chuckling. Muriel slowly slices off Lucio's right hand. " Muriel... " I say, voice quivering. " Y/n!" Muriel's entire persona changes. He drops the sword and runs over to me. " It's not what you think! It- I..." He says. I look around the room. Tears fall down my face as my friends are scattered all around. Blood covers the walls as I slowly walk over to Lucio cowards at me. " I won't hurt you," I say. I rip off the hem off my clothes and wrap it around his hand. " Y/n! Don't touch him! I just didn't want  him to hurt you!" Muriel shouts, sprinting between me and Lucio. I push him to the side. " I didn't want to lose you!" He yells. " So you thought that hurting my friends would be the right way?" I scream back at him, voice breaking. " Not them, just Lucio! They got in the way!" He argues. Tears flow down my cheeks like waterfalls. " I'm getting you help," I say, grabbing Lucio and standing him up. " I can't believe you think I would still love you? Muri... you always had me. But now..." I say, pulling Lucio closer to me. Muriel looks from me to him. " I can't believe you. You choose him over me?" Muriel asks. I look away and nod slightly. " I loved you, Muriel. But now you're a threat to me and others." I say, wiping my eyes.  Muriel's face fills with anger. He rushes at me and rips Lucio from my arms. I hear his struggled breaths as I fall to the ground and blackout.

I wake up to see Muriel sitting across from me. I try to stand up only to be surprised with ropes around my hands. " Let me go." I yell. " I-I can't lose you. I love you, Y/n." He says, " And now, I'll never lose you.".
