No one's POV

Peter woke up happy, the sun was shining through the crack in his blinds but it wasn't hitting him straight in the eyes. He just overall felt happy, not to mention that it was the first day of spring break. He got out of bed and took a shower, he dried his hair with a towel while walking into the kitchen and saying good morning to May. 

"Good morning Pete" May said with a smile. "I made breakfast" Peter saw the pancakes and fruit on the table and admired the smell.

"Awe, thank you so much aunt May" Peter said hugging his aunt.

"Well someone's in a good mood" May teased, ruffling Peters hair.

"Yeah, I just have a feeling that its going to be a good day" he said sitting down and starting to eat his breakfast. 

May and Peter ate breakfast together and were just sitting there talking when May had to take a phone call.

May's POV

I hear a ringing and look at my phone to see the alert that someone is calling me. I excuse myself from the table and step into another room.

"May Parker speaking"I greet

"Hello May, it's John. So, Janice got sick and is unable to make it on our business trip this week. I was wondering if you could take her spot since you both work on the same things, you can expect to be receiving a pay raise for this trip if you agree" My boss says, and I fully agree. This is a great opportunity and it could pay a few months rent ahead of time.

"Yes, I would be able to do that sir. Thank you" I answer back.

"Oh thank you May, we were lost. We need this meeting, a car will pick you up in an hour bye"

Smiling I put my phone in my pocket and walk through the kitchen to my room but stop when I hear peter.

"May, whats going on" Peter asks from his spot at the sink where he's cleaning the dishes.

"I have to go on a business trip this week Pete. Will you be ok on your own?" I ask, there is someone  would call to look after him but Peter would probably turn me down so I hold my thought.

"Yeah, i'll be fine May. When are you leaving?" He asks as he finishes the last plate and empty's the sink.

"In an hour" I answer making my way towards my room. I pack up everything that I need and by the time i'm done I have twenty minutes left until the car comes.

"Do you want me to help you with that aunt May" Peter asks, I love this kid. I hate to leave him, but even if it bothers him he would never show it.

"Yes, thank you Peter the car should be here soon. They always come fifteen minutes early."I say rolling my eyes. I hear Peter chuckle. When we get outside I see the car and we head towards it, Peter giving my suitcase to the driver. I turn to my nephew. "You know, if you get lonely you can call him" I offer.

"I know aunt May, but I don't want to bother him" He says as he hugs me.

"Ok, promise me you'll stay safe" 

"I promise" We hug each other and I step into the car, before I shut the door I say

"I love you Pete.

"I love you too May, Have fun" I nod, shutting the door and lean back against my seat with a sigh as we pull away.
