No buts do it now, I've had it with his incessant talking.

Loki heard all of that through a haze.

For the past six months he had been in a cell, in Asgard. The place he once thought of as home, being tortured by the man he once thought of as his father.

He tried to struggle, but they had beat him senseless about ten minutes ago and everything was still fuzzy. His head was spinning and his eyes watered. He wasn't supposed to be weak, the the god of mischief for his own sake.

But instead he was cowering from captors he didn't even see. They were nothing more that blurs of colors, harsh words and violent actions.

His whole body had been torn, skin ripped form his body as they cut slices down his arms and back.

His mind broken and twisted as they reminded him, day in and day out that he was a monster and monsters were punished.

He was pulled from his thoughts when something sharp pierced his top lip. It was then pierced through the bottom lip, and he felt them pull some kind of string through both lips. He tried to scream, tell them to stop because it hurt. God it hurt so bad.

They just held him down and kept stitching until he couldn't open his mouth a millimeter. Tears were rapidly pouring down his face as he struggled against his restraints. He sobbed and choked on air, it felt like he couldn't get enough.

Eventually he tired himself out, collapsing against the cold stone wall.

Tony yelped in pain as his finger moved too close to the welding tool. He turned it off and hurried to the sink, ringing it under the cold water until it didn't hurt. He took out the burn cream-this happened way more than he'd care to admit-and massaged it onto the tender skin.

He sighed in relief when it didn't hurt to bend his finger. Putting the cream back in the cabinet he returned to his work.

The upgrades to Bucks' arm was taking a lot longer than he had originally planned. He found it to be a lot harder to add in the extra mechanics and still have the arm able to bend naturally. Bucky had asked for just some routine upgrades, but as usual Tony wanted to go full out. He had already installed a cloaking device to make the arm look like actual skin, he made sure there was a device inside to interrupt magnetic waves. He'd had enough of his screwdrivers flying off the desks and attaching themselves to buckys' arm.

Besides those two he had added a few more interesting machine parts so his arm worked better for him.

He was just about to place the last wire when Jarvis spoke.

"Sir, Thor seems to have landed and is asking for your presence"

"Alright thanks J" tony sighed, getting up and walking to the landing pad he'd had installed for this very reason.

"Man of iron, thank you for coming I'm afraid there isn't much time we must discuss"

"Yeah ok come on in" he gestured to the living room on the other end of the landing pad. The two men made their way into the perfectly furnished area.

"I was going to tell Son of Rogers this but I decided to tell you as this is your place of habit. I need help, we'll more specifically my brother needs help-"

"Yeah the guy that threw me out of a window six months ago" Tony twirled his hand in a 'keep talking' way.

"Yes, but I believe his time in the Asgardian dungeons has changed him. When I went to visit him the other night what I found shocked me, he had been beaten bloody and the worst part was that his lips were sewn shut."

"Is he still there?" Tony asked, not wanting to, but feeling bad for the god of mischief and lies.

"Yes, I was going to head back and collect him but I wondered if you might allow him to stay at this tower."

"I don't know Thor," but he did, he couldn't in good conscience deny a broken man a place to live. No matter how high up the window he threw him out of was.

"Please man of iron, I have no where else to take him where the Allfather won't find him."

"Ok, bring him quick and to the med bay I'll set up the area"

"Are you going to call banner?"

"No I can help him, not many people believe me when I tell them but I am a medical doctor. I just don't practice medicine, only when the team needs it. Now go"

"Ok, thank you once more" Thor said before calling the bifrost and heading back to Asgard.

That was an eventful day Tony though, and then laughed to himself when he remembered it was only about ten minutes. Man time goes slow when you're talking about harboring the man who tried to take over New York.
