Summary: Peter might have overdone the whole 'All nighter' thing. At this point that was his life, all nighters every single night, trying to balance school, a job, and being the neighborhood super hero was not easy. It was about to get a whole lot harder with the prospect of a new internship.

Peter Parker was chronically sleep deprived, and not in the way most teenagers are. He had to balance school, homework, cooking for his aunt, shopping, his job, and patrol in twenty four hours. It was no easy feat, but if you asked him about it he would say, 'Nonsense, I'm fine I definitely sleep, and if I don't I drink coffee. Yup totally fine.' Which is one hundred percent bull shit. Some how though, everyone believed it agreeing and continuing on which Peter was thankful for. He didn't want to add 'Watch out for over protective person' to his already full schedule.

Peter was in class just like every other day, and was tuning out the teacher. He already knew that  Redox is a type of chemical reaction in which the oxidation states of atoms are changed, so he didn't listen. Until something his teacher said caught his attention, "Alright class, the school has arranged for our class to take the inter test for Stark Industries, while the company does not accept high schoolers as of this moment, if you get an incredible score the company might keep your name in the file for when you graduate!" It was Peters' dream to work at SI even if it was just a low job it would be amazing. He waited until the teacher dropped the test on his desk, this can't be right! These questions are so easy, maybe it's just a trick, maybe they're supposed to look easy but are hard? Oh well lets start... Peter thought before starting his test, he finished in ten minutes.

"Mr.Parker, It is nearly impossible to complete this test properly within ten minutes but if you are ok with your work i'll take it now" Peter just turned and walked back to his desk, stealing a glance at Flash's paper before he sat down. Flash had done all of the problems on the page wrong! Maybe Peter had a shot. 

He waited for the rest of the class to finish and the teacher announced, "Ok class, I have to send these to SI, but we should get the scores back tomorrow. Good bye everyone" He dismissed as the bell rang. Peter walked out and rushed to his locker, he didn't want to be caught alone with Flash. Ned was out sick today and Flash seemed to harm Peter more when he was alone so he tried to hurry, he slammed his locker shut and turned to become face to face with Eugene-Flash-Thompson. 

"Hey Puny Penis, are you ready to hear about your score of zero" He laughed as if that were actually mean, he didn't know Peter was actually smart, and if he did he just refused to believe it. "We'll I may as well give you your present now. What present? Oh this one!!" He punched Peter straight in the nose and ask Peter put his hand up to his nose, Flash took the opportunity to order his minions to hold Peter up against the lockers. Flash started to punch Peter violently, in his stomach, his throat and his face. Peter was becoming dizzy, he could take them on easily but he couldn't expose his identity as the Spider-Man that Flash was so deeply in love with. Don't fight back, Don't fight back it will be over soon, don't fight back. He ordered himself to stay put and not punch the life out of Flash. 

Finally Flash decided he was done, he left leaving a bloody and bruised Peter to drag himself back up and head to work.

When he arrived at work he was thankful for once that he had a job cleaning the back so no one had to see him. If he was a cashier or something people would either leave the store or ask if he was ok. He worked for two hours unloading the items to be brought into the store by the person with the shift after him. When he was done he sighed and left but not before filling out his time card.
