Chapter 15

Jungkook's POV

We returned just in time for the awards. I can't believe we were gone for almost an hour that we missed the remaining performances. The MCs were already announcing the winners for the 3 Daesang awards. EXO won the Best Artist of the Year award. The audience were cheering so loud for them. Well they are cool and amazing so they deserved it.

"And for the Best Song of the Year award goes to..." the MC said opening the envelope.

"TWICE's Cheer Up! Congratulations!"

We were all surprised and proud for them. They just debuted a year ago and they already won a daesang award. We all stood up clapped our hands. Taehyung even danced to their song which made us and the girls laugh. After their thank you speech ('cause author-nim is lazy), they went back to their couch and again we congratulated them. I looked back at Nayeon and mouthed her "Congratulations! Saranghae!" which she also mouthed to me "Thank you! Nado-saranghae~!". Lastly the Best Album of the Year award is being announced. We already lose our hope since there's no way we're gonna win this. So we just talked to each other, glancing at the big screen to pretend we're listening. We had our normal faces on until we heard the MCs announce the winner.

"Bangtan Sonyeondan! Congratulations!"

We won? Two words running through our minds as we all looked to each other. We all had our eyes wide open and our mouths forming an "o". I see my members standing up while I'm still sitting, still processing on what's happening. We all walked to the stage as our song is being played and the audience screaming like there's no tomorrow to scream for. We went up to the stage and took the award. Namjoon-hyung stood in front of the mic stand as we all listen to the cheers of our fans. This is the life. This is the first time we had a daesang award since our debut. This is what we've been working hard for. And now we've done it.

TIMESKIP: AFTER THE AWARDS SHOW

"Yah Yoongi! Stop staring at the trophy. You'll melt it!" Jin-hyung said while we all laugh at Yoong-hyung's romance with our awards.

We're back here at our dorm after the awards show. Bang PD-nim congratulated us for the award and he was really proud for us. He even treat us for dinner, all of us, and I mean ALL of us. The whole group, our stylists, our managers. He treated us ALL for dinner. We ate a lot and our managers were crying tears of joy 'cause we finally got an award we all dreamed of.

I'm laying here in my bed, using my phone to kill time before we sleep. I saw so many articles of our performance in the awards show and many of our fans congratulated us. We even saw articles and videos which filmed our reactions when we won the award, and I admit, we looked hilarious. My phone then rang and saw Nayeon's caller id.

"Yeoboseyo?"

"Hey jagi. You still up?"

"Obviously. Hahah"

"Yah"

"Just joking haha. Aren't you gonna sleep?"

"I'm not yet sleepy. I still can't believe we won a daesang award."

"You girls deserved it. Your fans really loved you girls. You just debuted last year and now you received an award we all wanted."

"Hey you also deserved your award. Years of hard work and you finally got it. Even though you were not that famous after debuting, you still climbed your way to the top. And we're all proud of you."

"Aishh you're making me cry again haha."

"Yah! That was supposed to be a compliment!"

"Tears of joy jagi. Tears of joy."

"Aish whatever haha."

"Well there's still more awards shows to come so we still have more chances of winning."

"You're right. And I'm one of the ARMYs that will cheer for you guys hihi."

"And I'm also one of the ONCE that will cheer up baby~"

"Awww kyeopta haha."

"Let's go to sleep now. It's already late y'know?"

"But I still wanna talk to my kookie."

"Mianhe jagi I'm really tired. And you got my energy drained a while ago. You really awakened my horny side."

"Aishh stop it! I still can't forget about that."

"I'll be expecting more of your naughty sides."

"Yah! I'll also expect more from you."

"Hahaha. Alright time to sleep now jagi. Goodnight. Talk to you tomorrow."

"Goodnight jagi~"

"Saranghae my bunny."

"Nado saranghae my kookie."

And with that we ended our call that was surprisingly 20 minutes. Wow were talking that long? I heard some laughs and saw all of my hyungs smirking at me.

"Saranghae my bunny"

"Mwa mwa"

"Aishh stop it hyungs!"

They all just laughed at me while they continue to tease me. After numerous rounds of teasing and talking about random things, we decided to sleep.
