Chapter 25

(A/N: I had the free time today so I wrote this new chapter quickly. But I'm still busy these days so I might update slowly. Sorry guys :(( )

Jungkook's POV

Right now, me, Jimin-hyung and Hoseok-hyung are in the practice room. We finished making our comeback song last week and the only things we need are the choreography and the MV. It's still 4:00 AM and we can't sleep so we decided to go here and think for steps on our choreography.

"Since our song is somewhat a bit an emotional song, we'll have to express our emotions here." Hoseok-hyung said.

We then started dancing on our own, sharing ideas and opinions. For about 6 hours of dancing, we finished forming the choreography. The next step is teaching the dance to the other members. It's 10:00 AM so we called our manager to pick us up and buy breakfast for the members back at the dorm.

After buying the foods, we drove back to the dorm. We opened the door to see Namjoon-hyung and Taetae talking to two girls in the living room. They all looked at us, revealing the two girls to be Jihyo and Tzuyu, my two best friends who I ignored for two whole months. They both got up on the couch and ran to me, engulfing me to a hug.

"Let's go to my room. We'll talk there." I told them. I didn't wait for them and just walked to my room. I feel so guilty for ignoring them. They were clearly worried about me and kept texting and calling me but I didn't accept any of their concerns. I sat up on my bed and they entered my room. I just looked at them emotionless while they had their worried faces.

"Kookie what's wrong with you?" Jihyo asked me.

"Oppa why were you ignoring us? We were worried about you." Tzuyu told me.

"What are you doing here? I don't have time. We're busy preparing for our comeback so make it quick." I told them coldly. I know it's bad but something tells me I have to be like this to them.

They were clearly shocked at my statement. They both had their eyes wide, even Jihyo's eyes that went bigger than her normal eyes. I just sighed and signaled them to go.

"JEON JEONG-GUK!" I got startled when Jihyo shouted. It's been a long time Jihyo actually said my real name and I know I'm in real trouble. I glanced at Tzuyu who's tearing up a bit. Hell is upon me.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?! HUH?! WE'RE DEAD WORRIED ABOUT YOU FOR TWO FUCKING MONTHS AND THIS IS WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO DO TO US?! WE'VE BEEN BEST FRIENDS FOR GOD KNOWS WHEN. WE'VE BEEN SHARING OUR PROBLEMS AND HELPING EACH OTHER. BUT WHY DID YOU SHUT US OUT?! WE KNOW YOU'RE NOT OKAY! DO YOU THINK WE'RE DOING OKAY?! KNOWING OUR BEST FRIEND IS SUFFERING ON HIS OWN WITHOUT HELP?! I CAN'T EVEN SLEEP WELL! 'CAUSE I'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT YOU! WERE YOU DOING OKAY? WERE YOU EATING WELL? WERE YOU SLEEPING WELL? WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS?!" Jihyo shouted to me.

I was stunned. What have I done? Why did I even shut them off? Why did I ignored them?

Because of a stupid reason, they're Nayeon's friends.

I just covered my face with my hands and looked down. I began to understand everything Jihyo told me as tears began to fall from the corner of my eyes. I know I changed. I told to myself that I'll show to everyone that I'm okay. I'll show to everyone that I'm strong. I'll never show to everyone my vulnerable side. I'll never show myself crying to everyone. But that didn't work. I broke down in front of my best friends. Good thing I'm covering my face out of embarrassment.

"I'm sorry." I let out a sob.

"I'm sorry." I cried and cried.

"I'm sorry." I can hear my voice cracking.
