Chapter 27

Jungkook's POV

It's time for the recording of our MV. We thought of our concept to be something mysterious. Something that would make the ARMYs think of the deeper meaning of the song. It's amusing to see some theories they made for every video we make. But for me, the song only means one thing, love that will never be true.

We're here at the dressing room, with our stylists noonas preparing us. We're all almost done except for Jimin-hyung, who's taking a bit time doing his eye-makeup. While waiting for him, Taetae went to me.

"Yah Jungkook-ah. Have you thought of something for our intro choreo?" Taetae asked me.

Since me and Taetae will be doing the intro, we decided to do something that would give meaning to the song. I took out something from my pocket. Taetae noticed it and smirked.

"Are you serious? You're really gonna do this?" he asked me.

"Yeah. Very sure."

It was a necklace. A couple necklace to be precise. We bought this for her birthday last year and we promised to never take it off. Well there's nothing holding it back now.

We started recording the MV. While I was singing my part, the camera zoomed in to my hand and I took off the necklace from my neck, raising it up on the air and threw it aside. It's stupid and childish to do it since I'm like talking about my relationship with Nayeon here but this is what I feel.

TIMESKIP: DAY OF MV RELEASE

Nayeon's POV

"Everyone! They released it!" Sana shouted at the living room.

We all went down to the living room, foods and drinks prepared as we all know we'll be watching their MV many times as always. While the video is loading, I was thinking about Jungkook. How is he nowadays? Does he like someone? Did he really forget about our memories together?

"Unnie gwaenchana?" Mina snapped me from my thoughts. I just nodded at her and they played the video.

I was so focused on Jungkook. His handsome face, his jawline, his broad shoulders. So much changed in him. I noticed something in his neck. WAIT THAT'S OUR NECKLACE! Why is he wearing it? I mean I'm happy he's wearing it since that was our promise. Do I still have a chance?

And then the camera zoomed in to his hand and he took off the necklace. Okay never mind. That really hurts. He did it where everyone will see. Actually I was hurt watching the whole video. He wrote the song. The things he's doing in the video. He threw our pictures on the fire. Good thing my face was blurred so they won't know it's me. Wait is that even a good thing? Really Nayeon?

There's also a scene when Jungkook showed his abs. Wow. Those 6-pack abs of his. I really missed that. He's really breaking all our promises. I told him to never show his abs to anyone. This really hurts. Seeing that he doesn't care about what we've been through together.

"Yah! Nayeonnie why are you crying? Are you okay?"

I wouldn't noticed myself crying if not for Jeongyeon. I didn't answer them. I just ran to my room and sat in a corner. I hugged my knees and cried like a baby. I used to think that I'm gonna be okay, but now I can't.

A knock was heard on the door and it opened. Jeongyeon quickly ran to me and hugged me when she saw me. I just hugged her back tightly and cried on her shoulder, while she pats my head. Jihyo and Tzuyu appeared on the door and hugged me as well.

After minutes of crying, I calmed down and sat on the bed. I thanked the girls for being here with me. I'm really lucky to have them.

"Unnie don't think much about it. I know Jungkook. He wouldn't mean anything about those. He wants you to think about that but in reality, it's the opposite." Jihyo said to me.

"What do you mean by the opposite?" I asked her confusedly.

"He still likes you unnie. You're his first girlfriend. I remember he told me that when he meet his first girlfriend, whatever mistake she made to him, he will still love her. When the time comes, he will come back to her and win her back again. He just needs some time unnie. And you have to wait, if you really love him." Jihyo said.

So I have to wait. I am willing to wait. I will wait for him to be okay again. I will wait for him to come back to me. I will wait for him to love me again.

"Thanks Jihyo. I will wait for him. You can go now. I'm fine already thanks to you girls." I told them. They nodded and went out of my room. I laid down on my bed until I felt my eyes heavy and fell asleep.

No one's POV

Jeongyeon, Jihyo and Tzuyu went out of the room and walked down to the living room. Jeongyeon went to the other girls watching tv while the other two went to the kitchen.

"Unnie is it really true?" Tzuyu asked Jihyo.

"About what?" Jihyo asked her back.

"About Jungkook-oppa. Did he really said all of that?"

"Ani." Jihyo simply answered.

"Huh? Then why did you tell Nayeon-unnie about that?"

"The part that Jungkook still loves unnie is true. I know him. The way she would talk to me about unnie for the past year means he really loves her from the bottom of his heart. We've been best friends for years, it's impossible for him to let go of her just like that."

"And if Nayeon-unnie really loves him, she will either wait for him or she will be the one to make the move. She just needs a little push that's all."

"But what if you're wrong? What if Jungkook-oppa falls in love with another girl? You know that Lisa-unnie likes him right?

"Well that's up to him. If he fell for Lisa, so be it. We just have to take care of Nayeon-unnie. But if Jungkook still really loves Nayeon-unnie, then Jungkook will choose our bunny."

"Arrasseo. Let's just hope it's the latter."
