Chapter 29

Jungkook's POV

For 2 weeks, me and Lisa have been going out on friendly dates. I admit she's fun to be with since we're both maknaes of our group and we're both '97 liners. She makes me happy by the simple and little things she do and I don't know why. We always eat outside, play in arcades and go to karaoke. Most people would fall in love in this state but me? Nothing. One thing is something is holding me back. Something or someone is telling me not to fall in love with Lisa, although I don't feel any spark with her. What's wrong with me seriously?

"Kookie?"

I snapped off my thoughts when Lisa tapped my shoulders.

"Gwaenchana? What you thinking about?" Lisa asked me.

"Nae gwaenchanayo. Don't mind about it." I smiled at her reassuringly. She seemed to have bought it and continued eating.

"So as I was saying..." Lisa continued telling her story about her unnies.

We're here at the amusement park since we both don't have any schedules. This wasn't planned at all since Lisa came and dragged me out of my dorm. I asked her where we would go and she just shrugged her shoulders. So it was my time to drag her here at the amusement park. We mostly did what other people would do. Ride the rollercoaster, the one that brings you up and drops you without warning, the bumper cars and many more. We wore our masks so that no one would recognize us, and could raise a dating scandal between us.

But some things were bothering me. I kept seeing Nayeon. Actually this has happened a few times when we had our hangouts this past few days. For this day, when we rode the rollercoaster, there was a couple in front of us. I looked at the girl and it was Nayeon. She hid her face on her boyfriend's shoulders the whole ride. After the ride she looked up and her face changed into a stranger. When we rode the bumper cars, there was a girl getting mad at her boyfriend. I looked at her and saw Nayeon again! She was getting mad playfully 'cause her boyfriend kept bumping her. I rubbed my eyes and the face of the girl changed to someone I don't know. I thought at that time 'What the hell's wrong with me?'. Me and Lisa went on a walk in the nearby park. I then saw another couple riding a bike with sidecar. I saw, again, Nayeon sitting in the sidecar eating her ice cream, while feeding her boyfriend his own ice cream. I closed my eyes and opened it again to see the couple again but with Nayeon replaced by someone I don't know again. Why am I seeing Nayeon randomly? And why does these seem to be nostalgic? I then tried to remember the moments where I mistakenly see Nayeon a while ago. Turns out those moments were the moments before I asked her to be my girlfriend. (A/N: chapter 7 ref.)

"Kookie? Is there a problem?" Lisa asked me worriedly.

"Yeah I'm fine. Don't worry about it." I smiled at her.

"Okay. Well I have to tell you something."

We both stopped on our tracks. I looked to my surroundings and saw a telephone booth, a familiar one. I then started to remember that this was the place when Nayeon said yes to me asking her out and had our first kiss. Now I feel like I know what's gonna happen.

"Jungkook saranghaeyo." Lisa told me.

'I knew it.'

"I loved you for 2 years now. I wanted to confess to you last year but you were dating Nayeon-unnie at that time. But now that you guys broke up, now's my chance to show you my charms. I could be your best girlfriend. I could be the one who will make you happiest." Lisa continued.

"Lisa I--" I was supposed to say something when she cut me off.

"I know what you're gonna say." Lisa said then looked down.
