Zombie hunters

THOMAS POV:

I was a huge fan of the super natural. I was walking around the canal. There is usually nothing down here but it's peaceful I guess. "Thomas" a voice whispered. I looked around. I saw a pile of dust. There was something green and glowing. I digged threw the dust and found a green gem. It was glowing. The gem flew into my chest and I flew back. I fainted and heard voices. I coughed and opened my eyes. I was in a hospital. What happened? I sat up and looked at myself. I'm wearing hospital clothes. I signed and stood up. I walked to the bathroom and closed the door. I remember the gem flew into my chest. I took my shirt off and froze. I had the green gem in my chest . It started glowing. It kinda reminds me of iron man. I started to panic as it glowed. I put my shirt on. I left the bathroom and decided to leave the hospital. This can't be real. I walked outside my room and walked around the hospital looking for the exit. I didn't look at anyone. A hand was placed on my shoulder.

"Sorry green but you are suppose to be in your room" said a voice. I turned and saw a women. She was a nurse and a zombie. I screamed and ran. The gem glowed brighter. I think it reacts to my emotions. I kept running and screaming when ever someone touched me. I locked myself in the janitors closet. I relaxed as the zombies banned on the door outside. They yelled at me to let them in. The gem stopped glowing and I threw my shirt off. I tried to get the gem out of my chest. It wasn't working. I kept trying. My gem glowed red. I was surprised. "Let me in" said a voice. "No, leave me alone" I said. The door glowed and blew up. A man stood there. He was hot. The man put his hand down. "The names Newt greenie" said the man. He started walking up to me. I grabbed a mop and aimed it at him. "Stay back" I said. "Its okay, I won't hurt you" said Newt. I noticed his chest glowed two. Newt took his shirt off. He had a gem two. I was confused. "Let me explain" said Newt.

"Fine, but I'm keeping the mop" I said. "We are all zombies here. The gem in your chest is what makes you a zombie. It can only be removed when you die or become human. Our gem is green so you and I are both one of the protectors that protect the human world from bad zombies but it also glows red when your soulmate is near but when it is green it's based off your emotions" said Newt. I was confused. "How, I was human before" I said angrily. "That doesn't matter. When a protector die then the gem will find a new protector. You were the chosen one" said Newt. I was surprised. I put the mop back. "What about the soulmates" I asked. Newt blushed. "Well, we will worry about that later. Come on, the doctors want to make sure everything is okay" said Newt. He held out his hand. I walked up to him and held Newt's hand. Both our gems glow brighter. Newt took me back to my room where I was tested. Everything was okay so we were allowed to leave. I walked around the underground city with with Newt. He explained how each zombie has different color gems and each color has different powers. The only weakness for all of us is we can't go in the sunlight or we turn to dust.
