Crank Town

THOMAS POV:

I looked at the world beyond the walls. Geez, no wonder WCKD never let's us leave. It looks like a destroyed forest. I know there is a town on the edge of the forest. Maybe they have a sketch book. Ya I like art. WCKD doesn't exactly provide entertainment and says stuff like that is a waste of time. So only books for knowledge are aloud. Fiction books are forbidden. I walked to the town with my gun in hand. I'm sure there are a few cranks roaming the woods. I made it to the town and saw cranks everywhere. Great, I'm never going to get past, are they, oh my gosh they are shucking. The other cranks didn't care that two cranks started shucking. They were both guys. Lucky. I mean WCKD doesn't allow gays. They believe in man and women so you can have a baby. If you can't concieve they banish you because you are marked as useless. Plus I am 100% gay. Like how do you not love a man? I was grabbed. The crank started dragging me as I tried to free myself. The crank sure is strong. More started coming.

"Back off, I'm taking him to Newt. If he isn't Newt's soulmate this shuck face is all yours" said the crank holding me. The other cranks understood and left. I was surprised they speak english. I then remembered. I stood up and kicked the crank where it hurts and freed myself. I turned to face the crank. He looked at me a little surprised. "You going to try and run back to WCKD like every other human" asked the crank. "I'm gay. They will kick me out anyway and I can walk myself" I said. "Fine" said the crank. He stood up and grabbed my hand. I signed annoyed as we walked. I could see that the crank had far too much hair gel. Do cranks even use hair gel? The crank lead me to a apartment. We walked up to the third floor. I'm surprised this place has power. But I guess with the dams and windmills it makes sense. We made it to room 325. The crank knocked on the door. I heard a groan and footsteps from inside. I hope it is the same Newt. Last year Newt promised to marry me one day.

Later he told his parents and they had WCKD banish him to the town of cranks. They never found out who Newt said he was going to marry because he just told his parents it was a boy and he refused to tell WCKD when he was banished. The door opened and it was Newt. "Tommy" he said surprised. "Hey" I said. Newt ran up and hugged me. The crank let go of my hand and I hugged back. I closed my eyes and stood there. It felt perfect in Newt's arms. I smiled. "Not to destroy the moment but I promised the others that if he isnt your soulmate then he is all there's so can you two test that quick" said the crank putting his hands on his hips. I was a little nervous. Test it how? Newt licked my neck and threw my head back. "We are, I tasted it" said Newt. I was confused. The crank smiled and left. Newt hugged me and we entered his apartment. Which was a mess. "Tommy, I, I'm sorry" said Newt. He bit my neck and injected the venom. It burned. "Thank you" I said. I don't want Newt to be sorry. If we are soulmates then he mise well turn me. I fainted in his arms.
