NEWT POV:

Zack punched me in the face and I blacked out. I woke up being carried in Thomas' arms. I opened my eyes. "Hey Newt, how do you feel" asked Thomas. "Okay I guess, what happened" I asked. "After you blacked out Zack tried to kidnap you but I stopped him and luckily most of the store saw and I did press charges" said Thomas. "Good that, that dog abuser deserved it" I said. Thomas opened the door to the hotel room. "Did he actually abuse dogs" asked Thomas as he carried me in. "I don't know for sure" I said as Thomas laid me on the bed. "How do you know him" asked Thomas as he sat on the bed. "Ex uncle I guess. He was a con man or whatever. My guess is he was going to try and give me back to my family so he can be seen as a good guy" I said. "Would it of worked" asked Thomas. "No" I said with a small laugh. "Let's just say that my dad would bloody beat the shit out of him" I said. I rubbed my face.

"I'll get a ice pack quick" said Thomas. He kissed my forehead and walked over to the mini fridge. He got a ice pack and wrapped it in a towel. Thomas gave it to me. "Thanks" I said. I took it and put it on my face. "Does your face hurt" asked Thomas. "A little, do we have pain killer" I asked. "Ya, I'll get some quick" said Thomas. I sat up and he went to go get the pain killer. Thomas came back and gave me the medicine. I took it and had some water. Thomas sat on the bed with me. "Do you think Zack will tell your family we are here" asked Thomas. "No, they wouldn't believe him.  Plus he would have a lot of bloody nerve talking to them" I said. I leaned on Thomas' chest. "Anyway how is the zombie town doing with the flood" I asked. "The water is still being removed. After that it's going to be rebuild everything" said Thomas. "That's going to bloody take forever" I said. "Ya but the good news is no one died. Mostly because we can't breath in the first place" said Thomas. "Good that, I'm kinda hungry though" I said.

"Do you want delivery or to go to the restaurant downstairs" asked Thomas. "Honestly I would feel safer getting delivery. In case we run into Zack again" I said. "I understand, what are you ordering from" asked Thomas. "I have no idea yet. I'll have to look at the menus. I can get vegan Mac and cheese from the vegan restaurant" I said. "I still don't understand how people choose to give up meat" said said Thomas. "Me neither, but let's just have some dinner" I said. I grabbed the menus and had a look threw. The vegan restaurant also has vegan cheese cake. I'll have to try that. I ordered the food and had it delivered. When it got here we ate. Thomas had a raw lamb. I took the ice pack off my face as I ate. "The swelling went down" said Thomas. "Good, I'm also glad nothing was broken" I said. I just have a few bruises. "How is the vegan cheese cake" asked Thomas. "Amazing, I hate being allergic to dairy but atleast they have good dairy free foods" I said. "You know as a zombie you won't be allergic anymore because of the mold" said Thomas. "Well I wish I bloody knew that sooner. Also I can't bloody wait for that day" I said.
