A Series of Unfortunate Events: A Fortunate Ending

Where are they?

Violet ran back inside Isadora hot on her trail. Sunny was sat on Annie's lap.

"Hey ladies where are the boys?" Annie asked as the two girls came to a stop plopping on the couches.

"We thought they were in here with you...?" Isadora replied confused.

"Well obviously they're not so-"

"Olaf." They all said at the same time. The girls ran outside Sunny toddling close behind them. Sure enough a car was driving away.

"No!" Isadora yelled running after the car. Violet did the same but Annie stayed back with Sunny.

Eventually the car got to far ahead and the girls got to tired. They slowed their pace until they had stopped completely.

"What do we do Vi? I just got Klaus back and now he's gone!" Isadora cried.

"I wish I knew Izzy but I just don't no what to do." Violet sighed starting to walk back.

The two made it back to the house. "Did you find them?" Annie asked standing up from where she had previously sat on the couch.

"No. They-they're-"

"Gone." Isadora cut Violet off.

"Gone? What do you mean gone?!" Annie asked raising her voice.

"They were kidnapped and we couldn't do anything about it ok?" Isadora snapped.

"We need to get them back!" Annie yelled.

"You think I don't know that!?" Isadora yelled back.

"Guys-"

"Well sometimes I don't know! You don't seem to have knowledge besides dumb poetry!" Annie shouted over Violet.

"Well at least I have a brain to read poetry with!" Isadora shot back.

"GUYS!!!" Violet shouted over them. Everyone turned to face her. "We need to stop bickering and put our heads together. When we got kidnapped the boys saved us we can at least give them the same courtesy," Violet reasoned.

"Vi's right we have to find them," Isadora agreed.

"Where did we start Violet?" Annie asked.

"Well we need to follow the road they took so start packing bags and quickly. No one comes down these roads so we should be able to follow their tire marks," Violet explained.

The girls all packed food and water as well as blankets and books. They packed the car full and Violet began to drive. Isadora sat in the passenger seat next to her so she could keep a close eye on the road with Violet. Antoinette entertained Sunny in the back.

"Vi, we've been traveling for hours!" Isadora complained. "I have to pee!"

"When I find a rest stop we can take a break, but only for 10 minutes because it looks like a storm is coming," Violet said looking towards the forming grey clouds.

"And if a storm comes that means no trail," Antoinette added.

Eventually Violet pulled up to a small run down convenience store. Only one other car was there which they assumed belonged to the owner of the shop. Isadora quickly hopped out and rushed to the bathroom the rest of the girls following close behind. Annie took Sunny to the bathroom while Violet wandered around picking up things they might need. She walked to the front of the store to check out when a mop of brown untamed hair caught her eye. She quickly hid behind a shelf and peaked through a couple boxes stacked on it. Sure enough one of Count Olaf's minions was stood gripping Quigley's arm very tightly. They were near the bathroom so Violet snuck around to warn her friends and sister.

Unfortunately she was seen.
