Finally, she collapses. Her breathing is slowing to a steady, faint rhythm as her pale hands rest at her sides. Her back is against the cold concrete as the night's darkness seems almost welcoming.
She would have never thought death to be brought to her by someone she didn't know. But now she thought it true, that she wasn't invincible, and was most certainly not able to carry on anymore.
She still had time, she knew that. But she thought it a curse because she had no more strength to take her to places she needed to go.
She was forced to lie there, and witness her own death.
