Chapter 53: Jilliane's Unforgettable Night (Part 3)

Hello to everyone... I hope you find this book of mine pretty nice and exciting at the same time... I really find it hard to think for new ideas and scenes but because of you and my dearest Roger, i can make good things and pursue to continue this lovely work!

I just write because I want you to know that this Chapter is my favorite scene so far as I am writing this story... It makes me smile every time i read it...

They went to the other side of the town's big park. They saw a live band performing on a stage and there are plenty of people watching . They stayed there. Roger looked at this band, they are playing Dave Clark 5's greatest hits.  And he remembered his Cornwall days, for he and his band called "The Reactions" always used to perform in any pubs and clubs... and even on open spaces like this.What are this band is playing and singing now is the song "Because".

All the people there are singing also the song. Even Jilliane is singing it. Roger looked at her while she is still singing and looking on the stage. He was amazed a bit on her, for he noticed she was talented. And he remembered again his childhood friend on her. He didn't notice that the song is finished and a transition song entered. Another Dave Clark 5 song entitled "Hurting Inside"

But he doesn't care on what the band on stage is singing. He just only look to Jilliane, who right now is enjoying the jam. He was amazed on how she looks to the band that is performing on stage. And he wonder if she would also have the same face if they were the ones who are performing.

Jilliane noticed that Roger is looking at her and suddenly she felt an uneasy feeling but she tried her best to hide it on him. She just only give Roger her most nicest smile, and the latter give her a smile too.

After that nice live band they decide to return now where their car parks. On their way, Jilliane saw a little long wall, she climbed there and starts to walk. Roger only smiled while looking at her balancing her weight in able for her not to fall.

"Careful! Or else you fall!" Roger said to her.

"Don't worry...i will not fall!" She said smiling and enjoying what she do. But as she is wearing stiletto she was been unbalanced caused her to fall. Roger  rushed to her as she is badly hurt.

"I told you to be careful! " Roger yelled.

"Ouch! It hurts!" Jilliane exclaimed.

"It's because you're persistent!" Roger said to her. Jilliane didn't said anything still touching her foot. "Can you walk?" He asked.

"I will try..." She said and tried to stand up but she is helpless. It really hurts. "Sorry.. but I think I couldn't make it".

Roger sighed and sat. " Here... Ride on my back..." Roger said to her.

"But I am heavy..." She said.

"Come on! Ride my back! Or else I'll leave you here!" Roger said to her.

She was forced to ride on Roger's back and he carried her. She was silent and her heart beat again like a drum. She cannot believe Roger is carrying her.  Her emotions are mixed that time. She really felt happy for she was with him, lucky for she is hugging him freely, nervous for he might notice her weirdness, and in love for he had captured her love, stolen her heart and changed her life. She is smiling but the latter didn't know. He just walked to the street carrying her on his back.

"You know what?.. "Roger said to her.

"What?" She asked.

"I never thought you are this heavy!" Roger said to her.

"I told you..." She said in reply.

"Geez... You're small yet you're so heavy!" Roger said.

"Now you're complaining! You're the one who offer me your back to ride... I never asked you to carry me..." She said to him.

"Alright...alright guess this time you win!" Roger said rolling his baby blue eyes. But he remembered his childhood friend who once also offered her back to ride in able for him to go home for his knees were wounded as he fell on the tree and he cannot properly walk.

They  became both  silent. Roger continued to walk carrying her. While she tighten her hug to him. She smell his perfume and his beautiful blonde hair. Roger noticed it a bit but he let Jilliane do what she want. As they approach the car, Jilliane refused now to  Roger to take her inside the car.  She manage to get inside but still felt the difficulty and pain. At last they both entered the car and they left the place to go home.

The night is deep when they arrived home. Roger helped her to went out the car and enter their home. They sat on the sofa. Roger checked Jilliane's foot in which the latter was surprised.

"Does it still hurt?"he asked checking her foot.

"It still hurt.." she replied.

Roger massage her foot. Once again, she was surprised with his act. She felt her cheeks are starting to get hot again. She feel his warm hands that touches her foot, as he massage it gently and she looked at him. She was touched on his gesture. She suddenly wonder of what would be the feeling if Roger touched her...not just her foot but her whole body.  She suddenly felt her imagination is going wild, for she is thinking extravagant. She shook her head but Roger didn't saw it for he is busy massaging her foot. And she saw a soft side of Roger's personality. She never thought that behind his rude and obnoxious personality, there is a compassionate and caring side hiding on him. And now she had another reason to love him as he is.

"There... If tomorrow it still hurt, I'll take you to the orthopedic". Roger said to her.

"I'd be the one to go if it still hurt... You need to go to EMI with the band tomorrow for the album release." She said to him.

"That could wait... Or even without me, the band will still submit it. And they will tell me what happened". He exclaimed. "You have to rest now... The night is deep... Can you climb the stairs?"

"I think I can do it myself now" she replied.

"No.. i think you're not. I will help you..." Roger said.

Jilliane doesn't said anything. She allowed him to help her climb the stairs to go to her room. As they were on her room...

"Go inside now... You need to rest..." He said to her.

"Goodnight..." She said to him and gave him a smile.

"Goodnight" Roger nod  smiled too. Then he starts to walk on his room.

"Roger..." She said and he turn around.

"....Thank You..." She exclaimed while looking at him.

"..ok.." he exclaimed. "Sleep now..." And he went to his room.

She also entered her room and sat on her bed. Cuddling Beethoven she thought of what happened this night. She smiled and feel love... For her it will be her unforgettable night.
