Chapter 54: Reality

And she was there... walking down the aisle wearing a beautiful white bridal gown. Her whole head was covered with veil and she is holding a wonderful bouquet of flowers. She saw all her friends and family. Including her mum and dad with a very teary eyes. She also saw Roger's grand mum and his family... She saw Freddie and Mary in their beautiful motif, she also saw Brian together with Chris and John together with his beautiful wife Veronica. And finally, down the aisle, she saw the man who will now make her life complete. The man that changed her life. The man that she decide to give her heart with. And the only one that she will cherish forever. He is smiling at her with a bit tearful eyes. As she saw it, she became emotional too. As she was now at the front of him, Roger took her hand and escorted her to the altar. They are both lovely and their eyes are sparkling in joy and love...

She was awaken by the sunlight that is now covering her whole face. She woke up and notice that she is crying. She wiped her tears, and remembered that it was only a dream. A dream that they are getting married for real, and they love each other. But now she was awaken to the reality. Yes they are married, but not for real but only for reel. Instead to become happy, she felt saddened for it is just a dream, and she knows she cannot live in a dream. She shook her head and decides to go down. She now can manage to go down the stairs. Her foot is well now, it just needed rest, she said to herself.

As she was walking down the stairs, she saw Roger, eating breakfast and she was noticed by him.

"So.. you're awake now... It's weird that you woke up late today!" He said to her.

"Huh?" She asked.

"Is your foot still hurt?" Roger asked.

"No... Not anymore... It's alright now.. no need to go to the orthopedic" she said.

"Well good... Come! Share the breakfast..." He said.

She didn't said anything and just went to the table and share the breakfast with Roger.

"Why did you wake up early?" She asked.

"The band decide that we'll go to EMI by 9... And it's already 8:30... So I have to go" he replied. He stand up and starts to walk.

"Well alright... Take care!" She said. "But wait!" She exclaimed.

Roger turn around her with a bit confusion.

"Hand check!" She exclaimed.

"What?" Roger asked.

"Let me see your left hand!" She said and hold Roger's left hand. And the latter was surprised with a "what the fuck!" Expression face but never said a word. Jilliane saw that he wears his wedding ring to prove that he is married. And she smiled.

"Why did you checked the ring?" Roger asked.

"Well I just checked if you are wearing it..." She replied.

"Do not worry, I always wear it wherever I go...and not if I have a gig, recording or tour... I cannot wear it...I will only get a hard time drumming if I wear it... I cannot drum properly". He said.

"Well ok... You can go now!" She said.

"And besides...sorry to say this... But.. this ring...is nothing! Yes we are husband and wife...but it's only a show...only on papers...for reel... not for real!" Roger pointed out this words to her.

Then Roger went out the house and rode his car and gone. While Jilliane became silent. And she acknowledge that he is right. What he had said is true, and it hurts her heart so much. Yesterday she was so happy because of Roger, and now she is lonely also because of him. Truly, pain is so close to pleasure. Now she know why she had that dream, it is only to remind her that they don't love each other or rather say she was the only one in love and not him...and their marriage is fake, and that after their 3 year duration, they will have their separated lives. This is the painful reality and she is now loving him now... She does not have any other choice. If she could only change the way that is meant to be... She looked at her wedding ring...she was now in a deep thought.

As Roger came to the EMI Office, he saw the band waiting.

"So you're all here!" Roger smiled to them.

"Yeah! And you're 2 minutes late blondie!" Freddie said to him.

"2 bloody minutes is not that fucking long Fred!" Roger said.

"How's Jilliane?" Brian asked.

"Well she's fine... We went dinner outside last night" he said.

"That's pretty nice blondie! She was happy?" Freddie asked.

"Well...I gonna say yes... And we went to a park where she spends her time during her highschool days... We watched a live band playing Dave Clark Five ...." He replied.

"That's good... Maybe she jammed there..." Deaky said.

"Yeah...she did... She like music... And was really amazed on that group of lads" Roger said.

"I wish she could also see us perform...i know we're better..." Freddie said and light up his cigarette.
"....and what happened after you watched the live band?"he added.

" She played like a child on a long short wall balancing herself while walking... I told her to be careful but unfortunately accident happened." He said.

"She was hurt?" Deaky asked.

"Yeah... On her right foot... I massaged it.. and i told her that today if her foot was still painful I'll take her to the orthopedic". He said to them.

"And how she is now?" Brian asked.

" She's alright now... She said it doesn't hurt anymore and no need to be on the orthopedic". He said.

"Well fine then..." Freddie said.

"I am sorry to interfere... But I'll change the topic..." Deaky said.

"What is it Deaks? Something bothering you?" Brian asked.

"Well as we are here... Freddie...are you really sure "Bohemian Rhapsody" will be our official single for our album?" Deaky asked Freddie.

"Bloody Yes darling!... Why did you asked? Are you bothered about it?" Freddie asked.

"A bit yes... The truth is... I am thrilled of it" Deaky said.

"Don't worry Deaks...trust Freddie! I believe this single will be a great hit!" Roger said.

"Rog is right darling! Right John? " Freddie said.

Their manager John Reid just nod and never said a word.Then suddenly, the door of the office opened and a girl went out.

"Mr. John Reid; Queen's manager... And the band themselves...." The girl exclaimed.

"Here we are darling!" Freddie said.

"You all can come inside now..." She said.

And all of them went inside. They were all excited to show their recording to EMI.
