Following Fuli

Fuli woke up in the cave Makucha's group trapped her in, surrounded by them.

Wait. Something's not right here.  Shouldn't they be transporting Kion to wherever they're going?  Fuli thought as she noticed the animals were simmering with a light glow. Of course! They're made out of fire, just put there to disturb our escape plans.

'Guys!'  Fuli said to the rest of the Guard through thought. 'The guards are just fire.  They're transporting Kion somewhere else so we can't use the Roar against them.'

'That makes sense.'  Ono replied

'But if Kion isn't here, who's leader?'  Bunga asked, concerned for his friend

'Kion appointed me as second in command, so I should take over as leader.  Meet me at the Pride Lands-Back Lands border.'  Fuli said

'Affirmative.'  Ono replied

Fuli ran as fast as she could away from the small cave she was kept in, and saw Bunga running out as well

"Hop on!" Fuli said. "We'll get there faster!"

Bunga complied with Fuli's orders, and they ran out of the volcano they were kept in towards the Pride Lands' border.  Once they reached there, they saw the rest of the Guard gathering there.

"Okay," Fuli said once they were all together, "Kion's gone, the Guard's down to 5, we need a plan."

"How about wait for Kion?" Bunga suggested

"He told me he won't be coming back, so we've lost a member." Fuli said

"Why not?" Beshte asked

"He'll be too weak to make the journey back to the Pride Lands.  We'll need to gather as many willing to fight as possible before we go to fight." Fuli said. "We can all go on, and say we surrender to build up a resistance against Scar and his followers."

"Good plan." Ono said

The Guard went down to Pride Rock and "surrendered", promising to guard the Pride Lands from any invaders.  After all, it was true, they're protecting the Pride Lands from Makucha's group.  It turned out that collecting rebels for a resistance wasn't as easy as they first thought.  Scar sent a guard that he trusted with them everywhere they went, and a bird was always seen nearby them.

'Creating a resistance is harder than seemed.'  Fuli said after a few weeks of trying to defeat Scar

'I know.  We should just run at him full force, and let anybody who wants to stand up, do it.'  Bunga said

'For once, you're right, let's attack... now!'  Fuli commanded as the Guard jumped at the animals guarding them, going into a flury of claws and teeth.  Once they finished attacking their guards, they went straight to Pride Rock to attack Scar and his army, but they forget one thing: Scar's made out of fire.  That helped Scar to imprision them forever.
