Cutting between following Kion and Fuli

Kion was sitting outside near a watering about to take a drink, but he saw half of his reflection missing. "What's the deal with these stupid reflections?" he said

"I don't see what you mean, your reflection is whole." A feline said

"Just ignore it," Kion replied, "I need to be alone for a bit."

[Kion]

What's this feeling inside of me?

I've put it all behind

Why can't I just free

my mind

of her?

When I was lost she always brought me home,

always knew just what to say,

but now that I'm alone, everything else fades away

[Fuli]

I can't believe

Now that he's gone,

I don't know if I'll find a way.

When he lost, I always brought him home,

always knew just what to say

[Kion and Fuli]

But now that I'm alone, everything else fades away

(S)he always brought me home,

always knew what to say,

But now that we're alone,

everything else has

faded away

[Fuli]

I trust in my heart to lead me the right way,

But can I trust my head to do the same?

[Kion]

I believe I won't be alone all day

But how long till I find the right lane?

[Kion and Fuli]

When I was lost, (s)he always brought me home,

always knew what to say,

but now that I'm alone,

everything else

has faded away

[Fuli]

Can I be trusted to get help,

[Kion]

Can I be trusted to do the right thing,

[Both]

When the time comes?

[Both]

Always brought me home

Always brought me home

But now,

that I'm alone,

everything else has

faded away

With Kion

"I've never heard you sing before," the feline said, appearing out of nowhere

"How much did you hear?" Kion asked

"Enough to know that the girl you're singing about you really love." the feline replied

"Yeah, I miss her and my family, just after everything I've been through, I don't think I can go back home."

"You know I'll support your decision no matter what."

"I know.  Asante."

With Fuli

"I haven't heard you sing in forever." Kiara said

"How much did you hear?" Fuli asked

"Enough to know that you really miss Kion."

"I do.  I'll head out first thing tomorrow morning."

"You should.  Come back with me and you can rest for a bit."

"Ok."

Fuli followed Kiara to her den and immediately flopped into her nest and fell asleep
