It's been a year since Scar has been defeated once and for all. Kovu and Kiara are now king and queen of the Pride Lands, and Kion and Fuli are married. Fuli is expecting a litter of 3 cubs, one of them will continue the tradition of the Lion Guard and inherit the Roar of the Elders, causing it to become the Pride Lands' fiercest and assemble the Lion Guard.
Even though Scar has been defeated, evil still lingers. Good and evil are like two sides of the same coin, you can't have one without the other.
