I just wanted to write how I think Kion and the Guard will react to Kovu and the outsiders being in the pride lands. It's short. Remember, Kion and Fuli aren't mates yet. It's obvious that they love each other, but they feel like the other doesn't feel that way.
Kion led the Guard to Pride Rock, Fuli by his side when he saw Kovu sitting beside Simba and Vitani sitting beside Kiara. Why are the outsiders here? That makes no sense. Despite Kion's thoughts, he let out a roar to announce his arrival. Kiara and Kovu came running towards Kion when the wind started to pick up once Kion did know it was Kovu. No. Calm. I don't know why they're here. I don't see Zira anywhere. As Kion thought those words, the wind started to calm down.
"It's okay, Kion." Kiara pushed her muzzle beside Kion's neck, nuzzling him. Kion returned it. "Kovu's my mate." Her gaze then turned to Fuli, who also stopped snarling at Kovu, then Kion.
Kion noticed what Kiara was going to say, so he shook his head, but his words didn't betray that he noticed what Kiara was implying. "Kovu and Vitani were the ones who wanted to go against ZIra's wishes. I can tell we have a lot of catching up to do."
"We do." Kiara beckoned with her tail for Kion to follow her and once she noticed it was just Kion, she spoke again. "The Guard as well." The Guard heard that, and she beckoned once more for them to follow her. Once they got inside Pride Rock, Simba and Nala greeted them, excited to see Kion was healed, though his scar was still there. Their reunion was cut short when they heard a loud roar coming from the edge of the Pride Lands.
