The Lion Guard | Still Together

Chapter 4.1: Escape, again.

The Lion Guard has grown up to full grown adults with Kion still in the oasis, and the rest still imprisioned, trying to plan a way to get out, all the Guard's parents have either died, or been imprisoned, including Timon and Pumbaa, but they're alive. 

"I'm going to grab a drink of water, you guys stay in your cell, or there'll be trouble." The leopard guard said

"Fuli," Bunga said as soon as the guard left, "it's your time to run! Now!"

"We've been over this," Fuli argued, "I won't leave without you!"

"We'll be fine, go find help, anybody!" Ono said

"Fine!" Fuli replied, running out as fast as possible, "I'll be back with help!"

Fuli ran and ran until she couldn't run anymore.

I need help, she thought, Kion, where are you? 

Fuli decided, since cheetahs can only run so fast for so long, she should take a rest and immediately fell asleep.

"You miss Kion, don't you Fuuls?" Fuli's mom said

"Yes," Fuli replied, "I just wish I could find him. My Mark isn't working to contact him, and if it is, he isn't responding."

"I know it's hard to lose a loved one, but your heart can be easily healed.  Just follow the setting sun for a few days and you'll reach an oasis, where Kion is."

"Can you help me more?"

"Sorry, but remember, I live in you."

Fuli immediately woke up after that last sentence.  I heard Mufasa said the same thing to Simba when he was lost.  It'll be a few days, but is it worth all the trouble? He might not even come home. Fuli saw her reflection and it was half missing. "What's the deal with these stupid reflections?"

"I know.  I had the same problem when I was a cub, when Kovu was exiled." Kiara said

"Kiara?" Fuli said, surprised, "What are you doing here?"

"I was lucky enough to escape right before Mwanga was born.  Just follow your heart, and you'll arrive at the right destination."

"Okay, then."

"Wanna stay with Kovu and I for a bit before you head off?"

"Sure, I'll be a few moments."
